Earlier Southern actors also used to be shamed for weight be it Sridevi, Jayaprada or some actors like Prabhu.

Weight part is less now but colorism is still there.

Yes in case of Dhanush, I think he’s faced the worst when it came to color and body shaming. I agree that he’s not conventionally good looking and needed a lot of grooming but the way he was dissed was too much. The guy has shut everyone with his work but still I think whenever I see him talking in a Bollywood platform he’s still not at ease and talks very less given that mostly people around him are loud and too much into faking, I was so pissed uff watching the KWK episode with him and Sara, it was mostly Sara talking.

Ofcourse Arjun is much more hardworking and able than both Charan and Sirish but Charan has larger fanbase and looks nothing like bunny so it doesn't affect him much. Not the case with Sirish also Aravind believed more in bunny than Siri and was focussed on curating his career..but now has started focusing on Siri as Arjun doesn't need him to curate his career anymore so you will see more of Sirish in coming years.

Again, Arvind believed in Bunny more or Arvind to work on Siri’s career, are hypothetical assumptions. Bunny started his career when he was 19, things could take time for him too but it didn’t, obviously his dad believed in him, but I don’t think so he got extraordinary attention and Siri was sidelined or sth. Also, Bunny’s greatest hits are mostly not from Arvind productions except a couple I think, as I said Bunny just had it in him, hard work yes, but the man is just sth else onscreen and he really deserves all the euphoria around him.

Charan, well, yes could be the next Abhishekh Bacchan, but thankfully he’s not, apart from being humble and accepting, he’s Tried to experiment too, he’s good looking and has all the heroic qualities so I don’t see a problem in promoting such actors even if they’re nepo kids, the problem arises if they’re completely lazy, obnoxious and take their privilege too seriously. Even though Siri is very humble too (actually all the mega kids are humble) but I don’t think he’s a hero material so yeah, I surely don’t want to see him snatching roles which other actors deserve. With Bunny, I am 200% sure that nobody could be a better Arya or a better Bantu and with Charan also nobody could be a better bhairav or Ram, they own up their biggest gambles unlike what I felt watching Brahmarastra, I felt someone else could be a better Shiva than Ranbir so that’s the difference. However I am not denying, both Charan-Arjun are mega kids, the legacy of this family is HUGE, so yeah they’re lucky plus have to work extra hard too, it’s like the dinners over there house, I remember once Charan said, dinners at their place are where producers come to sign someone and they’re (mega cousins) confused and wondering who are they going to sign 😆🤣

I think he’s improved a lot though, as a kid I watched Magadheera and I still love him for that. I think his script sense is bad and also Chiranjeevi’s influence ruins him, Bunny on the other hand chooses his films all himself I’m sure then maybe his dad gives inputs. Also I don’t know whether Charan has any iconic music director/actor or director/actor combo like bunny has with DSP/Thaman or Sukumar/Trivikram, all I know is Charan/SSR are the biggest. Charan’s next is with Shankar, another PAN India movie

That is why the actors and directors need to properly advocate for GOOD SCRIPTS.

A good actor regardless of being fair or not, will shine with a good script and a meaty roll 👍🏼

Yes. Also I was recently watching an interview of Allu Arjun, where they asked him why he has not done a Hindi movie yet, he honestly said that all scripts that come to him are substandard and he knows the Hindi audience and telugu audience have different taste so he can’t risk his Hindi debut by doing sth which they won’t like at all, after saying this he laughed, but I swear whatever he said is completely true. Also, Bollywood copied his movies and songs and they offer him to do same thing in Hindi? It’s stupid 😆

Thanks for sharing this, I wish I’d know telugu though, but well can’t do anything about it.

I’m glad this is probably the only clip in recent times, where I’ve seen Allu Arjun not wearing black, the man has been wearing black ever since Covid and it’s insane how he never messes up with his styling though. Can’t believe he slowed his stylist to design sth that has no shade of black in it 😆
