@bold

Omg it's so true😆. South, BW movies, TV shows are nothing in front of Korean dramas IMO. I used to watch straight 12 hrs without even looking at the watch and used to get lost in Korean world.. That much engaging they were. And the impact you feel for a week or two after watching them you end up feeling bored of reality and want to stay in Korean world😍.

the good part is post pandemic and during on ott i have watched the most varied content across languages.

previously i watched some crap movies in theater because "nothing to do , lets watch a movie"(walked out of a few) when i watched 1-2 languages,

this year i have watched the best movies across all languages in theater and the viewing experience is more satisfactory and i watch the rest on ott

same for most of my family and friends

I think more than north-south divide ppl are fed-up with mediocre content pushed down their throats...if this is what takes to wake up BW then let this phase continue for a bit. Atleast this will make them look at themselves and work harder.

You can clearly see the difference in the blockbuster movies of other industries and the shocking flops of BW. They were clearly ahead in many aspects and each presented a unique theatre experience to their audience. Maybe this will make BW try out new genres and work on script harder, pay the scriptwriters better and cast better actors.
