Asin&Mallika- Friends forever!

Guess who is Mallika Sherawat's best friend these days? No, it is not Jackie Chan, who is much more than a friend! Her new friend is Asin, with whom she has struck a great rapport and is constantly in touch. Mallika Sherwat the hot, sizzling Bollywood actress and our own Asin who has an image of a homely girl are like chalk and cheese. They met for the first time in Chennai at the Dasavatharam, audio launch in which Jackie Chan was present. Asin all prim and proper had never met Mallika during the shoot of the film as they had no combination scenes together. So when they first met on stage at the Nehru stadium, the organizers had no time to even introduce them. After a few moments of embarrassing silence, Asin flashed her winsome disarming smile and Mallika too responded. Soon they started chatting up and found that their comfort level was good. Mallika said that her brother was a big fan of Asin, and even seen some of her movies. She was also impressed that Aamir Khan chose her over other more glamorous Bollywood heroines. But our sources say, what impressed Mallika the most was that Asin did not try to cut a conversation with the hero of the evening Jackie Chan. Any other actress would have gone to Chan and introduced herself. Actually when the function was over. director K.S Ravikumar went out of his way to introduce Chan to Asin. Mallika immediately took the initiative and made an opportunity for the photographers to click all the three together.

What is interesting is that, after she reached Mumbai,Mallika keeps in touch with Asin over the phone and exchanges pleasantries. Asin on her part thinks Mallika is a very nice person, a good friend and has no hang-up's as made out by her rivals. Say Cheese!

I think its very funny how Asin and Mallika are the new so called "best friends"😆 Just cause Asin didnt try to get friendly with Jackie, Mallika is impressed over her?😆😆

This si interesting! What's more interesting is tht Asin didn't try to have a chat with Jackie Chan.I thought the reason why she wore the frill and fancy dress to the function was to impress Chan and Big B! 😆

Anyway, what's wrong in going and introducing yourself to the guest-of-honour? Granted, it is the organisers who should have done it, but if they were too busy or had forgotten, isn't it simple courtesy to introduce yourself? What would be obnoxious would have been if Asin, after introducing herself, had clung to JC like a leech but it is just good manners to introduce yourself.

KS Ravikumar has some good marketing skills. I did see his name high in the credits on the Singapore Show. And Kamal as well. They got all the high profile guys out.
What's next? Rajini screened Sivaji for Chandrababu Naidu, Thimooka, JJ and several others. A pic was taken with big B and he declared the superstar king, to which the superstar said if I am king, big B is emperor. The songs came on U tube, no marketing needed. History is it made 200 cr.
Can the D team emulate?
