Raj's proposal was like some college immature boy going gaga for his class mate, it wasn't coming across as some matured man who has clarity about life, family responsibilities, career who has thought thru well to propose a successful, independent, matured, polished working single mom.

So it was clear Manmeet will REJECT him, expectations MISMATCH was visible. 😛 Raj who is now fiancee of Anisha admitting he just planned such high level engagement to Anisha to provoke and make Manmeet come and stop the function, without thinking about repercussions, proves how playful & childish he still is.

Then he goes about proposing marriage to a girl whom he claims he loves and will make her happiest, whom he WANTS as Yadav's bahu, his wife, mom to his kids, 😳 but NOT to a working mom of Anmol, who is so much career oriented & attached to her own kid. He never cared to find out all these days, what kind of partner for self and father to her kid that Manmeet was actually looking for all these years? that she remained single till now.

Also Raj played with emotions of Nikki & Anisha as known to Manmeet. Feel his genuine feelings of love or its depth can't be easily trusted by her, and she also knows what an easy & constant liar he is, how much he fears his father.
