Hrithik is a very much successful actor. His works reflect that quality over quantity matters. He works on only a few projects and some of them fail (he is a human being after all) but still maximum of his movies are big success and it speaks volume. Much better decision rather than coming with movies after movies like Akki to break stupid records. Hrithik is very much calculative and dedicated as an actor...hence I refuse to believe that he ever took his Greek God charm seriously, had that been the case then he would not try to bring perfection in his every role, I appreciate his method acting style. He has limits in dialogue delivery but that's because of his stammering condition that he has since childhood (he tries his best to conceal it with his speech practice). In fact doctors even told him that he could never ever dance but he took that statement as a challenge and became one of the best dancers in the industry, and one of the best actors as well. So based on his dedication, I must say that he already is in an honorable position in the industry and everytime his movie trailers release (be it a hit or flop afterwards), they get enough buzz and the audience eagerly keep waiting for his every movie. So he already is a superstar if you don’t compare him with the Khans as benchmark.
We shouldn’t forget that the current generation doesn’t prefer to rely on a certain actor as a ruler in the industry, rather they prefer the contents of the movies. So the term 'superstar' is becoming fluid day by day.
