at least Geet was honest with Maan about Kanika

G- Woh aap mujhe bass yahin chod dein

M – Yahan?

G- Haan who saamne ye hotel hai, wahan room le lungi main

She points at a random small 2-star hotel on middle of the highway

He looks at the place then at her

M- Kanika ka kya hua?

G- Kaun Kanika?

M- Tumhari friend jiske ghar tum jaane wali thi

She shrinks onto her seat

G- Woh…plan chaupatt hai

M- Kyun?

G-Meri friend Kanika nahi hai…I mean meri friend hai…par uski shaadi ho gai hai toh who wahan ab nahi rehti hai. Toh main raat ko yahan room leke ruk jaungi. Aur subah….emm..subah ka dekh lenge…

Geet is waiting for him to unlock the car locks

He is staring distantly at the steering

M- Paise hain tumhare paas?

G-emm..haan…aap ne jo diye the

He doesn’t say anything

He is in dilemma

He unlocks the car locks

G-Thanks

She gets down and starts walking towards the hotel

She finds Maan also gets down

She turns

G-Aap…?

M- Tum chalo

He catches up with her pace as they enter the hotel lobby

He is looking around

The place looks okay but somehow has a shady vibe to it

Geet also looks around feels a little uncomfortable, but she has no other choice

Maan gestures her to stay back, and he walks to speak to the guy in the reception

Geet stays back as Maan speaks to the receptionist

She can’t here the conversation

M- Ek room chahiye, kya prices hain?

Reception guy- Sir, ghanta ka rate yaa din ka rate?

Maan doesn’t reply just stares at the guy

Geet sees Maan walking towards her

G- Mila?

M- Nahi. Room nahi hai

G- Oh

She is relived yet disappointed

Relived because her heart & intuitions didn’t want to stay in this place but logically she doesn’t have any choice so she is disappointed

Maan puts his hands inside his trouser pockets and looks down

M- Tum mere saath chal sakti ho?

G- Huh?

M- I mean I have a whole suite; you can stay in one room. Waise bhi 2:30 baj gai hain, subah hote hi kuch deck lena

She is looking at him wondering what to do

After a while she nods in agreement

G- Thik hai

They walk towards the car

Both are silent in the car

Geet is biting her lips in dilemma confusion embarrassment and awkwardness

Maan is silently driving

He is also wondering ki kahin ye mujhe creep ya chep toh nahi samajh rahi

They enter Maan’s hotel suite

M-emm…tum andar so jao, main bahar so jaata hoon

G- Nahi. Aap bed pe so jao, ye sofa-bed pe main fit ho jaungi. No problem

He nods and goes leaving Geet to be comfortable there

Both go to their respective beds

Sleep eludes them for a while, they are thinking about the eventful day

But both slowly drift to sleep

In the morning,

Maan had woken up but didn’t leave the room as he didn’t know whether Geet was up

Geet bhi uthke baithi hui thi

She heard the sound of Maan’s walking in other room

‘Uth gaye gain lagta hai’

She thinks to herself

She goes near the door

G- Aap uth gaye hain kya?

M- Haan. Haan. Tum?

G-Haan. Kab ka

M- Main aayun

G- Haan aa jaiye

Maan walks in

He is in his casuals T-shirt & track pants

Geet hadn’t changed bass dupatta kahin patak diya tha

M- Intercom iss room mein hai. Chai order karte hain

G- Haan haan

Both of them are little awkward seeing each other in a new light

Geet goes into the washroom to change & freshen up

She comes out to see the tea has arrived

G- Maan

He looks at her

G- Maine appse kal thanks bhi nahi kaha. Thank you for everything. Thank you for helping me. I am very sorry about my family, aap ko bohot pareshaan kiya

M- Its okay…chai peelo

She walks to him as he hands over the cup

G- Thanks. Main abhi chali jaungi

M- Kahan?

G- emm…koi ghar dhund lungi….itni jaldi kuch nahi mila toh koi hotel ya PG le lungi

She looks at him and realizes that he knows how unrealistic here plan sounds

G- Par acha hi hua. Main apni family ke saath rehke kabhi apne sapne nahi poore kar sakti thi

She realizes she is thinking out loud

G- Waise, I am sorry. Meri wajah se aapki badnaami toh nahi hui naa?

M- Kaisi badnaami, mujhe iss sheher mein koi nahi jaanta aur naa hi main kisi ko jaanta hoon

G- Oh. I mean…aapki wife yaa girlfriend…who kuch…unko bura lagega ki…

M- Main shaadi-shuda nahi hoon. Meri girlfriend bhi nahi hai

G-Oh

She wants to ask kyun but she doesn’t want to pry on someone’s life

G- Toh aap Dubai kab jaa rahe hain?

M- Kal raat ki flight hai

Fantastic Update

Maan was very concerned about Geet

and the hotel she chose was certainly a low grade

but it's great that he takes her back to his hotel suite

though now there was so much awkwardness between the two

Maan will be returning to Dubai

I really think that Maan should think of helping Geet in a permanent manner ... Geet is the person pursuing her dreams & she needs help

I liked how Maan took control of the situation & bring her along to help her genuinely so that she doesn't fall in any further mess

So new light new morning & Geet is all set for challenges & now let's see what she gets
