hi guys..😊

i recently watched d 5th movie and i felt pretty unhappy bcoz the 5th movie was awefully far from the book😕...the film makers shud not put in their original ideas when they actually r inspired from a certain book...and shud not omit bcoz of the film length...though the movie was good but its not similar 2 the book

here r some of the ways in which it is not similar 2 the book-

1] dobby finds d room of requirement...not neville😕

2] sirius shows harry his family tree b4 the hearing [b4 he went 2 hogwarts]....not during christmas😊

3] the movie shows NOTHING abt harry not being a prefect

4] fred and george dont use fireworks during the OWLS in d book😕

5] harry does not even raise his voice during the last scene with DD though in the book he is throwing stuff...screaming and shouting😆

6] hagrid shows harry,ron and herms the threstals....not luna😉

7] grawp doesent pick up herms likein the movie at all...he is told hermione is HERMY....which is again left our in d book😕

8] movie cuts out the v important scene of kreacher lying 2 harry dat sirius has gone😕

9]in d movie they dont show dat harry, ron, herms, neville, ginny and luna get 50 points each for telling the truth abt voldy😊

10]umbridge doesent visit hagrid when he was back immediately....harry ron and herms were the 1st 2 do so....😊

11] mgconagall warns harry abt umbridge...v did not c it inn d movie

12] DD and voldy did not duel the way they did in d movie...its different in d book

etc etc etc...i cud hv got many more if i had sat 2 think...i know that all the movies hv their differences from d books but this one is far far away....

am just glad dat the 7th movie is 2 split

Couldn't have agreed with you more😊.Of all the deviations,I suppose the exclusion of the all-importants parts involving the house-elves Dobby & Kreacher were the most disappointing. It wasn't like they had to create Dobby's character anew coz they had already shown him in the 2nd movie & they also showed Kreacher skulking about the house in the beginning of the 5th movie so how difficult could it have been to show that significant scene between Harry & Kreacher?😕

Besides, what was the need to add the entirely new character of that little boy called "Nigel" who seems to be in awe of Harry, specially when the books have a similar character, that of Colin Creevey?

Also, they make certain characters look the total opposite of what they are in the book. For instance:

😕Dignified Madame Maxime is shown like a silly, comical character. 😕Stern & reserved Mr.Crouch appears mild-mannered & friendly😕 Vicious giant Grawp is made to look like a playful, innocent overgrown baby.

I'm surprised that JKR didn't put her foot down to such drastic makeovers given to some of her characters, that is if she had read the script(she obviously must have) or seen the film before its release.

Even if they were compelled to cut down on loads & loads of details, they shouldn't have tampered with so much of the book, not to that extent.

Irrespective of those unnecesary & radical modifications however,I did enjoy watching the movie.I also wished that certain scenes & lines in the movie were in the book itself.Like when Umbridge tells Harry "Tell them (The centaurs) I didn't mean it" & Harry says "I'm sorry professor, but I must not tell lies"😆 & Sirius telling Lucius Malfoy "Get away from my godson"👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
