And yes, I certainly agree that here some of our friends have reached national level singing, I, infact, told Nathu and Charu to try for something really big ...like a competition or two ..where they can have a chance to prove their mettle....we have so many superb singers in this thread, such as allizzwell, isamreen, shirsha, nathu, charu, heisen and so on ... (Sorry, if I forgot to take anybody's name but please consider yourself counted since you all are gems) ❤️ tum mei se koi Indian Idol type show mei aa gaya toh I'll tell everyone dekho dekho ye mere friend hain

I was also shy Rashi..infact I avoid competitions as I dislike judging of talent. So was a bit hesitant for the IF-voice contest. But felt so motivated by our fellow IF members. Also y not de-stress via music in these threads. These threads are purely non-judgemental types. Everyone just enjoys the flow. I suggest give it a try. U feel so good😃

Have u received some kind of formal or informal training in music? Cos The effortlessness in how u hit the high notes as well as straight high notes is very difficult to do without practice i think... Also u rarely go out of sur ...

Also I don't practise ....purely spot on for these threads and Starmaker..might be if songs are suggested, i would need to hear out and practise as my comfort zone are old songs.

One needs to sing along the songs a lot to match the sur and pitch Harsh. That way can be successful in going high comfortably.

That's very surprising Laxmi. Your recent songs that i have heard are near perfection 😲

My range is very limited. Right going both very high and low are difficult for me... But then I've just started... I'm sure my range will improve with practice and time...

I am also very shy, I have to be all alone to sing a song, few years back somehow 2 of my friends got to know that I could sing and forced me to sing when they came to my home. I had to literally face a wall, pretend no one was there and then just sang 2 lines of a song 😆 Now imagine any contestant doing that on Indian Idol! I do not ever want to hear "Aap Mumbai ko pith/back nahi dikha sakte". 🥴😆
