Actress Mahima Chaudhary had moved to the Bombay High Court with a plea to stay the release of her upcoming film Zameer. The actress says in her petition that the producer Nithin Raaj Arayadath was supposed to pay her Rs. 16 Lakh but she was paid only Rs. 6 Lakh. High court Justice D.G. Karnik has however rejected her plea to stay the release of the movie, which is scheduled to release on 25 February.
The movie also stars Ajay Devgan and Amisha Patel. Justice Karnik has adjourned the matter for hearing to March 14.
