But her mother snatches the phone from her and takes it outside

Geet follows her mother

Ma- Ye phone pe ussi ladke se baat kar rahi thi. Aap log baat karo usse

Geet- Kya usse kyun baat karni hai?

Ma- Tumhari shaadi ke liye?

Geet is shocked

G- Kya? Shaadi? Mujhe nahi karni….

Shhhh!!

Her family shushes her as they dial Maan’s number from her phone

Geet is trying to get a hold of her phone

Maan on the other side wonders Geet itni raat ko call kyun kar rahi hai, sab thik toh hai naa

M- Geet, is everything okay?

Maan speaks up immediately after picking the call

G- Maan…

She tries to warn him, but her father warns her though his hand gesture

Geet becomes quiet

Geet’s father speaks up

Father- Main Geet ka pita baat kar raha hoon. Hamare kuch jaankaar aapke wahan gaye hain, unke saath hamare ghar aa jaaiye. Aapse kuch baat karni hai

Maan is puzzled

Maan-Kya? Kaise baat?

Father- Baaki baatein hum milke karenge

Father disconnects the call

Geet is prating ki ‘Please mat aana. Please mat aana’

G- Aap log please meri baat ek baar sunn lijiye. MSG-Maan- Mr Khurana ko ismein involve mat kijiye

Father- Tumse kaha hai naa apni beti ko kamre mein rakho

Her father says to her mother

The mother drags Geet to her room and locks her while her phone remains with her father

Kuch der baad Geet ki maa Geet ke rrom ka darwaza bahar se kholti hai

Geet comes out to see Maan, her extended family & neighbors in their living room

Maan looks confused

Geet looks guilty, because of her family Maan has been dragged into this mess

Her father glances at Geet as she enters the room

Maan also looks at her, maybe relived to see a familiar face or relived to see that Geet is okay

Father- Tumhe hamari beti se shaadi karni hogi

Before Maan could react

Geet leaps in, she has had enough

She yells at top of her lungs so that nobody can suppress her voice

G- Nahi! AAP LOG HAMAARI ZABARDASTI SHAADI NAHI KARA SAKTE. Hum dono ke beech kuch nahi hai. AAP LOG MAAN KO HARASS KARNA BAND KIJIYE. Jaane dijiye unhe.

Everybody is looking at Geet with murderous eyes

Maan is also looking at Geet with surprise laden face

Geet is panting after yelling her lungs off

Her father plants a sudden unexpected tight slap on her cheek

She almost falls on Maan with its impact with tears oozing off her eyes

Maan holds and steadies her putting his large over face in an impulse so if the father tries to hit her again then he won’t be able to

Father- Badtameez ladki! Gairzimmedari ki bhi koi had hoti hai. Itni si bhi koi fikar nahi hai hamari izzat ki

G- Main Gair zimmedar nahi hoon. Agar hoti toh apne pairon pe khadi nahi hona chahti

Taiyaji- Ek aur lafz mooh se nikaala toh zabaan kheench lenge tumhari

G- Maan ko please jaane dijiye. Ismein unnki koi galti nahi hai

The father looks at Maan and gestures him to leave

Maan leaves the premises wishing & hoping the family won’t hurt Geet anymore

But then thinks who he is to get involved in their family matters

He drives off

Geet’s father is staring at her, he can’t believe this girl’s audacity and stubbornness

Geet is staring back.

She knows she hasn’t done anything wrong.

Darr toh bass usse iss baat ka tha ki Maan ke saath kuch galat naa ho. Ab Maan chala gaya hai toh, she doesn’t care what happens to her. She is ready for everything

Aunt- Iss parivaar ki izzat mitti mein mila di iss ladki ne, chotti do behenein hain uska bhi khayal nahi aaya. Bhai saab, aapne uss ladke ko jaane kaise diya

Father- Tumhara yaar chala gaya hai. Tum bhi nikal jao iss ghar se. Tumhari wajah se mere parivaar ki izzat ko koi aanch nahi aayegi. Tumhare daaman ka kalank main apne sarr pe uthaaye apni chotti betiyon ke saar pe nahi malunga. Chaahe mujhe iske liye apni badi beti ko qurbaan kyun naa karna pade

Geet walks towards her room

Her father holds her arm

Father- Andar kahan jaa rahi ho?

G- Apna samaan lene. Yahan rehne ka shauq mujhe bhi nahi hai

Dramatic and Curious Update Thanks

Geet's uncle truly made a huge scene

but Geet's parents surely they should be aware

of her career

but seems now they feel Geet is in the wrong

it was rather kind of Maan to text Geet finding out if she is

doing well Such a a brilliant catch❤️

but now I'm sure her parents will believe Maan and Geet has

some secret relation 😉Dekhte hain

hate how her family treats her True

sad that her dad slapped her

as expected her family just accuse her....

glad that she tried to to explain

alas did not allow her an opportunity to explain

they just assume things and that she is lying

not surprised that her dad now wants to get married That was a great analysis on her family, so apt

upset she is not allowed to leave the house and she cannot continue her work

at least she has some hope of making them understand

of cos she does not want to get married

upset that her neighbours and extended family add fuel to the fire Sab ek jaise hain

Gosh they want to get Geet married to Maan

liked Maan's concern for Geet Thanks for noticing

however he cannot ask directly and ended aksing for Gagan's number yeah...such a small nuisance...it was a great catch

oh now her mom saw her text Maan and misunderstands

dismayed that they do not trust Geet

well her mom took her phone away

so her mom tell them to call Maan to talk to him about marrying Geet

Geet's reaction was reasonable

wonder how Maan will react?
