What a commanding chase this is from Sri Lanka. Ireland just did not have any answers. Kusal Mendis made it look like a batting road out there. When the Irish batted, they struggled to get the ball away and Mendis came out and showed how it has to be done. A proper shellacking this for the Irish. Mendis and DDS set Sri Lanka on their way and after the latter fell, Asalanka came out and finished it off with Mendis in 15 overs. 30 balls left in the chase - and that's a big win in T20 terms. Lots of Sri Lankans in the crowd in Hobart and the Papare band is in full flow as their team delight them with a superb performance. Stay tuned for the presentation.

Dasun Shanaka | Sri Lanka captain - Really happy with the way we've played the game, we set out to do some things and did well. We knew spin would play a major role, we knew they'd like pace, so we kept a lot of spin for the back-end. He has been consistent this year (on Kusal Mendis), has played according to the situation most of the times, that's the area he has improved. That consistency which Sri Lanka needed for a long time, that gives us a luxury. Death bowling is a key area, the start with the bat is very important and that's where we can take positives going ahead. Thankful to the supporters who came to back us today.
