Hi Friends,
Retro Cafe is back with yet another very dreamy episode!!! This week we bring you .....
Lori (Lullaby) Spl
"The night is still. The sleep is hard to come by. A soft, soothing song wafts through the air enveloping the tired mind. Under its magical spell the mind slowly drifts into the tranquil ocean of dreams away from the stresses and the strains of this life - at least until the next morning!"
A lori (lullaby) is a soothing song, usually sung to babies and young children by elders for calming them down, so that they can fall asleep. The simple words, the calming tunes, the beauty of love and reassuring voice, all these put together has a soothing effect on a child thus making him/her surrender to the magical world of deep slumber. It not only makes the child fall asleep easily but this is a memory of child hood laced with mothers love that he/she carries forward in life as well.
Bollywood has gifted us some of the most beautiful loris .Times have passed, generations have changed , but loris still carry the same magical effect , enticing sleep. To get to know more about Hindi film loris please visit the following thread:
