Something Amna from Something Haute said today made me laugh...she was like Yawar is such a great guy. He is ready to marry whoever his sister tells him to marry. 😆So if Qudsia is able to convince that Sameena character to have Yawar marry her instead of her daughters, I doubt Yawar would refuse. 😆

Remember when Ayesha had found out that Talal was getting married, she had come to Qudsia and told her that let us go and speak to Talal's family. Let us ask for their forgiveness. Qudsia had refused point blank saying she wouldn't demean herself by doing so. Basically she had given more importance to her own dignity, reputation,etc over Bano's happiness. Since she had been the one to go and tell Talal's mother to keep her son away from Bano, insulted them, etc., Qudsia didn't want to go back and apologise for these actions of hers since it would mean bending before them.

She is doing the same thing now with Ayesha. Basit had been quite rude to her when Qudsia had gone to speak to him. That insult to her was more important than anything that Ayesha was going through. It is important that she decided to get Ayesha married to Yawar immediately after returning home. Had she come to this decision after Basit came to their house (when Qudsia had thought he had come to apologise and speak to Ayesha so as to fix things but instead he left after scolding Ayesha again), still we could have thought Qudsia's anger was because of how Basit treated Ayesha. But no, she decided this solely because he had insulted her. This is why I am hating her so much these days.

As for Ayesha and her dad, that is completely terra incognita. We have no information on even when he passed away. I guess he passed away at a time Bano might have been in school or college, so the early years after his death must have been difficult for them until Bano got her job. But I feel Bano and Ayesha being the elder daughters, must have had a better memory of their father and so his influence is seen in them. Zoya who is like 15 years at least junior to Bano, must have been a baby when he passed away and so she has only her mom as a reference to understand how families work. Ayesha is closer in age to Zoya but she might have been around 10-12 yrs old when her dad passed. Bano might have been 18-20 yrs old and Zoya 3-4 yrs old.

Very astute observation indeed. Qudsia is not angry at Basit for hurting her daughter, she’s doing all of this in pride. She’s shown to be very selfish where it doesn’t bother her whether her daughters are content or not.

Another reason for which Qudsia is more keen on Yawar is that Basit by throwing Ayesha out of his house has proved himself to be an unstable source of monetary gain. Qudsia probably feels insecure about what would happen if he were to repeat this againin future. Right now she sees a very lucrative offer in the form of Yawar who is desperate to marry. Therefore, she doesn’t want to let go of this option for someone like Basit who in her opinion does not have a stable temperament to carry forward this relationship and keep helping Qudsia’s house as well.

I wonder what would be Basit’s reaction if he got to know that Qudsia is planning Ayesha’s second marriage? How do you think he would react?

I also wish that they give out some information regarding Ayesha’s father in order to understand her character better.

I really really want Basit to find out that Qudsia is planning to get Ayesha married off to someone else. I think he will develop a lifelong enmity with Qudsia following that revelation.

And yes, it would be nice to know more about Ayesha's growing up years. Perhaps there will be a point in the future when Ayesha and Basit share their childhood memories. Also you know how I would love to see Basit going through Ayesha's childhood things.

Maybe among the stuff that Ayesha packed in that big suitcase before leaving her home there will some bits and pieces of her childhood.

Now imagining a scene where after bringing Ayesha back to his home, Basit will help Ayesha unpack her suitcase. Question her on the things she has packed...maybe some books, maybe a framed photo of the sisters, maybe a home-made charm bracelet or a funny coloured scarf knitted for her by Bobby phupo. I want him to understand that Ayesha has taken this giant leap of faith by trusting him and coming to him after burning her bridges with her mother. And to do that she has gone against the family which was her life till he married her.

Add to that our office gossip queen Jawad witnessing all of this and reporting it in office 🤣 He’d go like “pata hai Basit Sir office time mein apni ex-PA and current wife ki jasoosi karte hain, isliye ghar jaldi jaate hain. Kitna badal gaye hain Sir jabse shaadi ki hai”.
