I differ a little from you about Abhimanyu. Yes I agree that he’s had anger issues and still has them. He blocks his mind when anger overpowers him. But he has never ever manhandled anyone in anger. He has never pushed anyone in anger the way Neil pushed him. He breaks things in anger so as to avoid hurting any human as he knows how terrible his rage is. So there’s a clear difference there. Also about him giving silent treatment - he has given silent treatment to Akshara and Manjiri after explaining them 1000 times what he wants - and what he wanted was never for himself - it was always to protect them. He has always had patience with both and gave silent treatment only to avoid being mad in anger and saying/doing things he’ll regret later. I’m not defending him in any way or saying he doesn’t have flaws but only stating deeper reasons for the same.
I agree about Abhi not hitting anyone but Abhi has never been on the receiving end of anger like this. The explosion is like how Abhi explodes. That is the Harshvardhan trait. So that is why I said it is like he is getting a taste of his own explosive that he would give. The early Abhi. Now, he doesn't do this as much. He now uses his sharp words.
In regards to silent treatment it is still the same. This is the side of Manjari in him. She told him she is very angry with him right now so she is giving the silent treatment. It isn't like she likes doing it. She was about to cave when she saw him sleeping in the hallway. Abhi does silent treatment to control his anger but also even in his silent treatment he still ends up hurting the person who is trying to communicate with him. He shuts them out which is what Manjari did today by not talking to him. So to me they are very similar.
We have traits of our parents in us and they do not always manifest in the same exact manner. There can be variations as we are also our own person. That is why I wasn't as up in arms about Abhi being compared to his father because he does share traits. His anger, practical mind, see to believe thinking, and passes judgment quickly (can be good or bad depending on the situation). But he does not emotionally harass or act violently upon a person. Abhi has Manjari's traits as well a good heart, has good intentions, love of music, wants to value relationships (but due to his childhood trauma also has a hard time with relationships)
Anyways no wrong or right perception. Just how I saw it and felt it was similar.
