Love IMO is not just romantic or sexual. It can be anything like affection or goodness between two humans.
Which films or scenes have shown love in its purest forms as per you?
IMO, the bonds between Kamal and Sri in Sadma and Amitabh and Jaya in Mili was true love. The heroines had nothing conventional to offer and the latter film has heroine in last stage of cancer. Still hero marries her and feels no stigma at all. Sadma was also great in how Kamal is protective towards Sridevi and never takes advantage of her, literally loses his own mind over her.
I also felt bond between Aamir and Darsheel in TZP was purest depiction of influence a compassionate teacher can have on a child and also influence parent and child relation in a positive manner. The love and empathy Nikumbh sir has for Ishaan is amazing.
I believe Kajol's boss in Pyar toh hona hi tha was also a very fatherly, tolerant and loving character. Which other boss tolerates whims and emotional outbursts of own employee or is arranging help like a dad for her?
The friends in RDB, 3I are ready to do anything for each other. Including willingness to die or put own life and career on the line for their friend. Or cheer up their friend who attempted suicide and no one judged him. Rather they made their parents and teachers realise they are wrong.
These are few that came to my mind while writing this post. Which films, characters or scenes show human bonding and love in purest forms according to you?( And not just sexual or romantic love between people of opposite or same sex.)
