It is directly discouraging those who wants to serve the country or to join the forces. What message she is giving? That the girls are like this only? I understand the point that sex is a primal instinct and all that and I am not talking about morality and all but a relationship is beyond the sexual needs and she is just summarising that a marital relationship does mean only one thing and if you are not getting it from your husband then cheat on him. She is promoting cheating and that is what corrupting the young minds.

It is not only the Army officers who makes such a big sacrifice, their families also sacrifice their happiness so why to degrade them just for the trp🤷‍♀️

I confused it with some other show then. Army officers wives having extra marital affair? Don't want to generalize, but nobody is as loyal as army personnel 's wives. They are the force behind the army forces. My mum is an army wife & she has done so much for ladies welfare & upliftment.

Ekta Kapoor has always dealt with a sprinkle of controversy within the SCRIPTS, and this is also what the Actors love (meaty scripts!). Furthermore, Men are smart enough to believe that Ekta's OTTs have a TARGET AUDIENCE (Women). Her Intentions were to Entertain in a SOAPY (soap opera) way. Let's lighten up!!🥳

I have mixed feelings about this.

Being from a family of army officers, I feel ekta shouldn't demean/sexualize uniform of noble professions like Army, Police etc. Its kind of derogatory.

But that being said, I don't agree with the supreme court saying that her OTT content pollutes mind of youngsters. We are living in 21st century, where youngsters know about love making long before marriage, infact in school/college itself. If anything, sex education should be made mandatory curriculum in college, so that youngsters can understand the risks of having multiple partners & also understand how to practice safe sex.

Please don't cite sex education as an excuse for graphic sexual fantasies that offer mis-education. Fiction can be informative, insightful, and empowering, like educational material, but that takes a conscious effort to be responsible.

The scene clip in my post marked Mature, above, was irresponsible and potentially harmful, as someone watching it (young or old, doesn't matter) could start a bucket list of sexual fetishes: adultery, cuckolding, stolen valour, sacrilege, Alcmene and Zeus costumes, proṣita-bhartṛkā nāyikā ... If the viewer wasn't already engaged in these behaviours, and starts after watching the scene, and relationships will be destroyed because of it, where is the educational value?

I am writing a story that might be educational, since I am trying not to misrepresent the reality of conversion therapy and life with HIV. Sexual topics are central to my story - forcible marriage, bigamy, adultery, prostitution, and homosexuality, but I don't need to be graphic because I am not using them for shock value. My focus is always on my characters' humanity, never their sex appeal for the reader.

That’s what I am saying. We as a society always neglect the sacrifice made by the family members of the officers. They live in fear of loosing their loved ones so that we can live in peace and what she did was horrible and after that show I have seen many YT videos too showing the same thing that Army officer’s wife is cheating on him like it’s so easy and common to do this. Whenever Court gives a statement it doesn’t always reflects a single community but a society as whole.

There was another judgement of SC recently that Man would pay maintenance for his children and many people were offended by that but they need to understand that our society doesn’t only contains modern, educated or feminists but we also have traditional, illiterate women who were forced to live with this patriarchal system since ages and if courts suddenly gives a judgement that only women would pay for maintenance for the kids if they are living with her then the rights of those women’s would be violated. We can have personal opinions but court can’t have that so we need a broader mindset to evaluate its decisions and comments.

Well said Kusum. you covered almost all the vital points. 🤗

Military families are the definition of resiliency. Not enough can be said of the spouses of military members, who serve our country every bit as much as their enlisted husband.

The impact of war is not limited to the battlefield. The families of soldiers also make great sacrifices when one of their members is engaged in combat. Sleepless nights, loved ones missing at holidays, a parent left alone to raise children, and the torment of wondering whether the knock on the door is a military officer in full dress bearing the bad news of the death of a loved one are among the anxieties that military families face.

As a military spouse, you know the risks they take, you understand the sacrifice, you get what it is they signed up for—because as a spouse, you signed up for it, too! Your spouse took an oath to support and defend the country against all enemies, foreign and domestic. There’s a risk and a cost to that allegiance. There’s a loss of control over one’s own destiny, and that risk, that cost, and that loss of control, falls directly on the shoulders of the service member’s spouse.

Making mockery of military families' lives is an unforgivable mistake, and the SC has every right to probe and penalise the producer for her immoral, unethical portrayals of Defense personnel.

💯

And you guys won’t believe the impact it had on our society, I was doing a research on why do people cheat, there I came across an organisation supporting Polygamy, bigamy and cheating. They wanted courts to legalise Bigamy/Cheating in India. According to them love is something that we all should give and there is nothing wrong with having multiple partners and what not. And the most outrageous thing was the supporters it got with just that thought.

Sometimes I do wonder that how are we getting these ideas, and I can’t help but to think ITV and cinemas did played a major role in this. You won’t believe it but I heard this statement from a MBA graduated that it’s okay to bear little abuse and there is nothing wrong with men drinking and taking out there frustration on their wives, wives should be more adjustable🤯

@bold she needs to be held accountable for many things bro. She normalised abuse in the name of love. She made mockery of our history. She has shown many bad things in the name of creative liberty.

oh god I'm shocked if they want this to legalise it what impact it will create on our society and what will happen to girls i just can't imagine that

Seriously itv sending a big wrong message to the society and young generation.. They will think it OK to cheat, have 2 wife's and extra married affairs

And I'm seriously feeling disgusting hearing from MBA graduate that it OK to abuse you wife

Behen these thoughts have been around for decades before ITV came. Let's on put it on that.

Here in US lot of them grps are there where polygamy is accepted...it is considered wayn of life...it is a religious things for some..

Some talk.abt the place of women and men in a relsti9nship and the idea did not stem from ITV but from the environment we grow up in and what we are exposed to

Don't get me wrong ITV has some impact like other mediums but it cannot be solely blamed
