Honestly, I think that many filmmakers/directors have an actor in them but can't show it in front of rolling cameras/an audience (even an invisible one). But they can act in front of their fellow actors and can guide them (more or less impactfully).

That's what, btw, I think about Aryan who probably likes more the technical and creative stuff which has to do with filmmaking instead of facing the camera of which Suhana doesn't seem shy.

SRK is both his kids (or both his kids together are like him) when it comes to making movies, imo.

whatever happened to Shekhar Kapur, why doesn't he make movies any more?

IDK. He was a good filmmaker. I have no idea why he stopped work in T.V., BW, HW or anywhere.

He gives talks on cinema though at global film festivals and film schools.

Ya I know. And he was good at that stuff. But probably he was better at making films and that was his true calling.

Imtiaz Ali. Seen him irl and he’s gorgeous.

Yes, he is gorgeous but not actor-"material" as far as I've experienced him. He is a "think-through" director and doesn't play scenes...he explains them, discusses them (in contrary to (i.e.) Karan who plays scenes to show what he wants).
