Ridiculous topic. How can one compare a film star to a PM?

Anyday a head of state has more power than a film star.

It is common sense.

Modi did not become popular only in 2014. He has never lost an election all life. First one to serve 3 consecutive terms as CM in Gujarat and one of longest serving CMs in Indian politics and one of longest serving PMs, and rare PMs to be elected for 2 consecutive terms.

He does have bhakts in India and among diaspora abroad.

He is a better actor than SRK and acts all the time.

SRK maybe more known as actor but a head of state is anyday more powerful and influential.

It's not that big a stretch to compare their popularity. SRK has about 31 million followers on Instagram whereas Modi has about 71 million. On Twitter, SRK has 43M followers while Modi has about 84M followers. If social media is a barometer, Modi is winning (or has won) the popularity contest.

Power comparison is probably apples and oranges. In any case, all such discussions become null and void when you consider that Modi heads the nuclear command authority of India.

On the side topic that some of you have originated, I will take the Trumps over the corrupt Bidens, racist Obamas and crooked Clintons any day. It's been one big political witch-hunt that the liberals have initiated against Trump ever since he announced his candidacy for presidency. They are still unsuccessful in "getting" him and not for lack of trying!! They are unsuccessful in spite of their best efforts.

REGARDING POPULARITY: Both SRK & Modi are very popular. Modi would be more powerful Nationally. SRK has a GLOBAL INFLUENCE that is UNIMAGINABLE. SRK !!! 👍🏼
