i think he really wants to be in denial or rid his feelings...also bc he feels obligated to her father. I think in essence bc he thinks what he feels is wrong, hes trying really hard to do a "right" tabhi itna madata karta han. oh you have a point.. he is masking his feelings with being super supportive towards her marriage just so he doesnt fele guilty for having romantic feelings for her.. that makes sense..
