I'm not familiar with this phrase and that may mainly be because my mother tongue isn't Hindi. So naturally arguments here don't have these words in them. But I do get your drift.

All I can say is she should refrain from using phrases that varies in meaning according to the interpreter's knowledge of a certain language and it's nuances.

Despite being an average user of the Hindi language, I was mistaken too, so for someone who doesn't possess even an average knowledge of the language, she'd be painted as an antagonist.

This show airs across multiple regions and unless an explanation about the same is given to the viewer consuming this content, they'll hold on to their interpretation and form an opinion of hers based on it.

Ambiguous phrases if kept at bay would do her more good.
