You really feel the anxiety, the hurt, the vulnerability, the sheer emotional torture that falling in love can make one experience.

Had to add that the softness in Basit's voice during this scene is simply breathtaking...you can literally taste his vulnerability in the texture of his voice here.

I was thinking same the softness in his voice kyu neend kyu puri nahi hui. Not that he does not know but still the innocence in question is so powerful. It does disturb him that she is upset. He can sense she is crying.

I felt that he is still not comfortable with the idea of his own feelings for Ayesha. So keeps retreating behind this cover of polite good will.

Twerps, you analyse this show so beautifully that I cannot help but ask- what was that scene with Ayesha looking at her phone smiling, and then Basit getting uncomfortable for a split second and asking her to whom was she talking?

Did Basit suspect Ayesha and Fahad again? Or is it that he’s become possessive of her and anybody else taking away her attention from Basit and making her smile perturbs him?
