Around 2 years ago, they reviewed the VFX of Zero and they genuinely were baffled about the novelty and flawlessness of RedChillies work (from around 5:33 on):

I don't like the comment of the self-proclaimed (?) former employee of RedChillies' VFX departement, neither the comment about South Indian movies nor the reasoning about an alleged non-recognition of the work. The worst is mentioning about non-payment (which maybe right or wrong). Happy that this employee doesn't work there anymore (if ever).

Btw...if one looks up the work of the VFX studio on Wikipedia, Red Chillies in no way is short of work:

This makes me sad, because even if zero was not a nice movie, it’s vfx was great
