Bachchans have 3 or 4 houses on the same compound. I'm sure Aish and Abhishek must live separately from the rest of the family. I doubt Aish and the rest of the Bachchans mingle that much. They probably don't meet that often so there is nothing much to say about each other.

Abhishek also makes like half a dozen films a year even though they all flop so I think he's away working a lot. Aish basically lives her own solo life with her daughter but I think that's what she likes anyway. Her daughter is the love of her life, not any man.

I always said Bachchans are a patriarchal and regressive family and ever since Abhishek's chances as lead hero fizzled, they began to sideline Ash more. They are insecure of Ash, her career and global fame.

Jaya had made big deal of Ash's intimate scenes in D2, ADHM, JA. She had also said she is quiet, she listens, shs stands behind. Amitabh had called her domesticated even before marriage.

It was clear where it wad headed.

They are pressuring her, cold shouldering her, keeping her away from family podcasts, KBC appearances and never post about her work or films either.

They are slowly crushing her and making it clear they do not like her to work.

She is dimming her own shine to avoid hurting ego of Abhishek whose even web series failed.

And I bet older Bachchans also dislike Ash for not giving them a male heir.

Abhishek seems to have stopped posting about Ash or her achievements after he was trolled and called nikamma, living off fame of wife on Twitter by a troll.

It is a typical Abhimaan type situation.

A diplomat had said Aishwarya serves guests personally at Bachchan house and not maids or staff. It is clear what Bachchans make her do and demand from her. She was also removed from Kalyan ad and Bachchans brought Jaya and Shweta instead.

Ash is doing no ad now except Loreal. Bachchans hardly make appearances with her.

They want her to be at home.

All mag covers, talk shows and ads are with Shweta or Navya now. Or the old couple themselves.

I have always felt Ash married into Bachchan family for safety, security and protection from Khans as well as assured limelight and fame as part of biggest star's family.

Otherwise there was no reason to marry a flop guy like Abhishek or into a regressive family like that.

And Ash probably did not want to stay off limelight or marry an NRI like Madhuri so chose to be Bachchan bahu. She would have it hard to stay relevant if she did not marry Abhishek and had already been boycotted by half of industry due to Khans.

To think she dimmed her light for this.

You all portray Ash as if she has no say in her own life. She makes her own choices and if she wanted to stay home and be a mom I respect her even more for that

Oh well. Everyone knows how jealous & insecure the Bs are of Ash. Initially they believed she would be their Crown Jewel, esp Sr, (which she absolutely is!!!) but over time, that dissipated & only left their insecurity & jealousy towards Ash. Can’t fail to mention here that everyone also knows how regressive & backwards the Bs are. Jaya famously didn’t want Ash to work after marriage. Nothing I’ve observed or seen or heard has made me feel that Jr is insecure of her. He isn’t & is probably , the only sane one in that family.

Shweta & Ash can’t stand each other. There are literally videos out there, of both ignoring each other. Am sure Navya too dislikes Ash for whatever reason, as an extension. So not a surprise they act like Ash doesn’t exist.

The strong rumours have always been that the Ash-Jr marriage was an arranged marriage though they always present it as a love marriage, which I’ve always found so funny. The Bs adored Ash, esp Sr, and wanted her as their Bahu, Jr says he had a crush on her, Ash’s Maa adored Jr; so it was an all around happy thing to happen. Now their earlier warmth etc has finished, atleast from everyone except Jr. whenever Ash & he are together, they seem fine. Though yes, apparently one of the best side-effects of this marriage was that Salman IMMEDIATELY backed off b/c now Ash became a ‘Bachchan’ and in BW, the Bs are too respected & powerful to be messed with.

I believe Ash is happiest & most obsessed with Aaradhya & her mother. She dgaf for any of them when these 2 are beside her. Ash is an ICON & she’ll always be. The most brilliant thing is, she’s totally self-made!!! A 1000% fact is, there will never be another Aishwarya Rai. And she never needed a ‘Bachchan’ behind her to achieve that.

I believe Shweta might be secretly separated. She now lives more in the Bachchan household. She might not have any life of her own left. It seems things were fine until Shweta was happy in her own home. When you have to chose between daughter-I law and daughter. Blood is thicker then water .

Shweta is known to be separated from her husband & mostly lives in Bbay with her parents. Though anyone with eyes, can see, Shweta & Jr are impeccably brought up & loved deeply, you can see how much Sr loves Shweta from just the way he looks at her, and while a brilliant actor, even he can’t fake this much, lol. But it’s always struck me as super regressive how they just got her married off at what? 21-23? She was too young & in Delhi socialite circles, there have always been super strong rumours that her husband is not… Straight. The poor lady was too young to know any better. Am so glad to see she’s living her life now I hope, the way she wants to.

I don't think it is hunky Dory, but I do t think it is too sweet either .

Ash's Instagram handle is really not top game, Her pics are cute but captions are like a 5 year old.

Ash doesn't put pictures of films or promote anything and I think it is vice versa. She doesn't promote her brothers wife too. She mentioned in an interview that she is very uncomfortable with social media and does not like it

I think initially things were great between all of them. However things change and priorities change. Ash lost her father and she made Aaradhya and her mom her entire world and reduced work. Ab jr might be a lot of things bit you can see him stand by Ash's family and she does the same for him

You can see that Aaradhya shares a great bond with the Bachchans and Nandas though. It is definitely not a K3G but just a respectful relationship and distance like many families.

Ash's achievement and relationships within south and west is more to her than the Bachchans. Bollywood had almost boycotted her before the Bachchans. While the south and the west were always open to her. She did not cash on the hollywood front because she did not want to do bold scenes etc the one thing she did gain was protection from Salman and many hindi producers and directors worked with her or connected back with her because of the Bachchan tag. I think in the beginning she liked it but in the last couple of years you can see that except her mom and daughter she doesn't seem to have a care. Though you can see her more happy with the south actors than the north ones , it also might be the way they treat her irrespective of her personal life, the respect was always there.

Families can have conflicts from time to time. No family is perfect. However, there are times when you put your differences aside and present as a united front. Especially if the family is so publicly-known. It doesn't have to be a grand overture. It could be a simple sweet. Or a liked post etc. Because now there's unwarranted attention to Aish and the family dynamics

Abhi is even more interesting. Spelling her name wrong - sure could be a case of sausage fingers while typing on his cell phone. But retweeting a jodhaa akbar fan poster...like dude😆

He doesn’t have sausage fingers, I can confirm. He can use that excuse to the world but not to me, never to me.
