Use social media to promote certain parties and their ideology and campaign for parties. Kiss boots of politicians and then get awards.

lol that make some sense to me, i agree to some extent by looking at how udit narayan got prestigious award on few mediocre songs of his career ,like a song which nobody even know chote chote sapne hain which doesn't deserve a private award too but he was given national award for it, but at the same time i am not sure whether he used his contacts for these awards

Political links matter. Sonu Nigam is close to BJP and has always toed right wing agenda by bashing Bollywood for giving chances to Pakistani singers, blaming mafia, ranting against azaan, loudspeakers etc. So he got award at young age.

Saif got Padma and National award purely because his khandaan is close to INC and his mom Sharmila was CBFC chairperson under UPA govt. Or else do you think he deserved Padma award at a young age or National award for a shit performance like Hum Tum?

Or Akshay got National award for Rustom?

There is no govt award in India which you can get without licking boots of politicians and ruling govt.

At least he got the Padma Shri award. Alka Yagnik is yet to receive that.

On contrary to that Sonu point , Sonu Nigam is the only singer in India who has always welcomed Pakistani singers , and has given shut up call to all indians for their childish behaviour to bann artist ,

but suppose Sonu has his contacts with bjp he should have won atleast 5 national awards by now as Sonu Nigam is the only indian singer with maximum number of patriotic hits songs he should have won for sandeste ate hain , sarfaroshi ke tamana , mera rang de basanti chola , Ek saathi aur bhi tha , Zindagi mout na bann jaye, Panchi nadiyan , Bande main tha dum , Sonu Nigam Deserve to win atleast 4-5 National awards on merits.

You are targeting few celebs over their government awards and while shutting your eyes on undeserving award of Mr Udit is strange as his awards still are questionable

I did not target any celeb. All celebs in India get govt award only by bootlicking and asskissing of politicians and ruling parties.

I am not surprised Udit also got award this way.

Sonu Nigam did make comments against Pakistani singers and so did Shreya Ghoshal. They especially targeted Atif.

So your claim that Sonu has never made any anti Pak comment in life is not too valid.

He also commented against people of particular religion and ideology after Pulwama attack in Kashmir.

Though he later tried to make up for statements claiming he is not against any community or his idol is Mohammad Rafi etc. He plays it safe but everyone knows what he has done.
