"Ashwin was the first one to come out and undergo stretching drills," Afzal says. "Having an extended bowling session on the side wicket. Looks like he might be in for tonight's game."

Rohit Kota: "Why does Ashton Agar never get a game? Is he injured? I feel like he could play Smith's role with the bat and he is a very good bowler as well." --- Our expert Brad Hodge too plumps for a second spinner in Agar

Our man Afzal Jiwani sets up the scene from the Rajiv Gandhi Stadium: "Hyderabad is all set for its first international game in almost 3 years. After facing challenges in procuring tickets and facing a stampede-like situation for the same, fans have started to turn up from as early as 4 pm. There was a forecast for rain in the evening but the weather has held up nicely for a full game. Pitch, as reported yesterday, has almost no grass. Around 3 pm, the HCA President Azharuddin checked the bounce and asked for it to be rolled one last time. Today's pitch is adjacent to the centre wicket. 63-64 metre boundary on either sides of the square."

Feels kind of odd that none of the active men ICT players have tweeted about Deepti Sharma (especially since ECB players have been on a tirade since yesterday).

Maybe it's for the better. Kuch ulta hi boldenge ye log toh. Silence is golden.

Matthew Wade: We are gonna learn a lot, we've got these three games luckily and then we've got 4-5 games back home leading into the World Cup. It's nice to have the full squad together. It's nice to play in India where the ball can travel, it's good to see the whole team under a bit of pressure at times.(Batting at No. 6 and No.7) It's something I've really enjoyed since just before the World Cup last summer. That's when I switched, it's a different role, the game dictates the way that you need to go and play. It's been nice to go out there and contribute in the first couple of games. Hopefully I don't have as much work to do in the game. The wicket looks really nice and hopefully the top-order can get some runs. I feel like I'm improving every time we play a series, which is nice. (Shot selection - based on conditions or instinct?) A little bit of both, reading into the bowlers the way they might attack me and then working out the shots that I can play. To go behind the wicket with the laps and that kind of thing is something I've introduced in my game since I've gone down to 6 & 7.

Honestly I think what Deepti Sharma did was absolutely correct. Cause mankading is now considered a legal way of runout, there is nothing wrong in doing this. The batter should have been more careful.

And I noticed it always have to be an English player involved in a mankading.😆
