She snored and he looked on silently still wondering what happened actually. Why such weird behavior and why was she eyeing the washroom door??

A sudden shiver

Is someone hiding there and she's nervous??

When i walked into the room, she came out of that place looking calm, so if a stranger was hiding she would be frightened and screaming for help

That's quite absurd, isn't it??

Taking slow cautious steps towards the washroom he reached the door and gave it a hard push with his right leg to scare anyone behind it without realizing that his deed accidentally woke his wife. But she laid quietly in drowsiness afraid of the sudden noise.

He waited a while and then barged in . No one insight . The washroom was tidy, untouched.

He sighed a relief but suddenly freaked out when he saw a bottle of brandi below the sink as though it was purposely left there in hiding.

He gasped looking at the quantity.

Oh my God, she drank half of it .

Ginnii was 50% sober and 50% drunk.

He cursed himself for bringing up the honeymoon discussion not realizing she was not100% sober

No wonder she wasn't fully in herself. But why only half.

Oh' so i won't find out. She still kept her other half sober so i won't realize. That's why she was plastered to the bed not moving so i won't notice.

How foolish of me not able to see the signs.

I thought she was stressed up with the controlled diet and home sick stuff

That's why she took it to soothe the pressure she felt within herself.

And to add the nightmares she's getting about the shooter. The incident had taken a toll on her emotions.

But no, i can't allow this to repeat. Alcohol is injurious to her health.

He rushed out of the washroom taking the bottle along, rummaged through the cupboard for any other and disposed all into the large dustbin at the backyard.

A few minutes later,

A great shock awaited as he returned to the room.

The half drunk Ginni stood at the edge of the balcony next to the roof holding a broom in her right hand pointing it towards the bright day sky searching for the night moon.

Screaming.

" Moonji, kahan ho aap, apki honey idhar apka intezar kar rehi hain. Ao honey honey moon moon khelte hain. Kahan chupe ho ji".

He pulled her down instantly with great force, snatching the broom away throwing it towards one corner of the balcony and lifted her in his arms as she struggled to release herself.

He shut her instantly as he laid her on the bed caressing her head to put her to sleep by saying,

" Jadhu sey kuch nehin hoga. Badhey mein rocket liya hain. Vo thodi der aa raha hain. Tu soja. Jaise vo ayega na, main tujhey utha dunga, ssshhh soja"

She murmured closing her eyes under the warm touch of his hand,

" Apne rocked badhey mein liya hain??"

Still caressing her head, he smirked,

" Haanji , tera husband bahut paise wala hain. Antariksh ka theka liya hain. Tu jo chahti hain vo sab milega, Suraj, tare, asmaan ..."

She interrupted sitting straight up facing him angrily hitting on his chest.

" Mujhey sirf moonji chaihiye, moonji chaihiye, moonji chahiye!!"

He struggled to lay her back reassuring.

" Ok .. ok .. shhhh shhhh, moon bhi milega. O meri maa, chup ho ja, shhhh shhh soja soja".

The half asleep wife murmured again as he continued caressing her head cursing himself again and again for bringing up the topic of honeymoon at the very wrong timing

" Adityaji ".

The casual reply,

" Haanji". ( Yes)

Silence.

The calm reply again

" Haanji" (yes).

The soft whisper.

" Rocketji abhi aaya kyun nehin hain ji. Mujhe bhook legi hain. Veda pao , samosa chat, bhel puri sab mera udhar intezar kar rehe hain. He frowned still caressing her head.
