It was banter but I think it had seeds of that possessiveness about Ayesha which will come out strong in the upcoming track...

At the time, Basit wasn't angry at Ayesha for anything in particular. He had no reason to think Ayesha was trusting Fahad with something she wasn't trusting him with. Whatever is going to happen in the upcoming episodes will be more extreme because of his anger at being not confided in by Ayesha.

Basit cannot share attention and love. You are with him or against him.

Basit has abandonment issues resulting in commitment issues. Because of this he cannot accept the fact that he is not in the in-crowd. And that of all people Fahad is avoiding to answer his questions.

Basit is damn annoyed as he is always honest and cant accept people would not trust him. (he does not consider the fact that he did not tell Ayesha about the money he paid Qudsia as he promised Qudsia (just like Fahad made a promise to Ayesha)

By the way, we should raise a poll. Does the forum feel Fahad was at fault by making this promise to Ayesha? Should he have said: Bhabhi I wont tell but if Basit asks me I wont lie too.

Did Fahad lie or avoid to tell the truth? I have to watch again to understand better.

OK so taking this point by point...

Basit not sharing attention and love...yesss absolutely. He is as possessive about his relations as he is about his things. He did this with Fahad once when Fahad was trying to tell him of Soha's point of view. Basit straightaway accused Fahad of taking Soha's side when that was far from the case.

Abandonment issues translating into commitment issues...most definitely! His initial efforts to keep a distant and formal sort of relationship with Ayesha came from this sentiment. But the closer he is getting to Ayesha, the more exposed and out of his comfort zone he must be feeling. And now suddenly with Ayesha and Fahad lying to him, he feels totally vulnerable and will react accordingly.

Love the point about honesty! So true that Basit too has hidden a truth from Ayesha because of a promise he had made to Qudsia. Perhaps this he will remember and so find it easier to accept Fahad's avoidance of the truth or Ayesha's.

Fahad did not handle Basit's question well...he should have not outright said there is nothing the matter. Rather he could have said, you need to talk to Ayesha bhabi.

So he was always clear that marriage is not a joke or contract for him..

Nd fahad himself told him, come out of fear of rejection.

After witnessing it all nd knowing basit's real issues, what made fahad thought that basit will react normally to fahad- ayesha's secret meetings behind his back

I don't think it's love yet ... you can call it possessiveness or may be his past that is forcing him to react the way he is reacting...

See love or no love there is no doubt basit has accepted this marriage whole heartedly nd he is actually making efforts to make their relationship normal...

So his reaction is more cause of feeling of betrayal nd again deep lying abandonment issues..

Situation is not helping either... ayesha and fahad are being caught discussing things secretly nd behaving odd when basit comes ..

I think after this track once he'll make peace with his past nd come to terms to trusting his partner, then only we'll see their relationship moving towards love..

And in end this trust issue is not one sided.. both needed to trust each other.. so hopefully this track will deal with their trust issues nd insecurities 🤞
