Most important quality you look for in an actor?

What is the one thing that strikes you most about an actor? What is the one quality you find most important to find an actor likeable or a sign of talent?

For me, it is eyes and voice (modulation as well as language skill and dialogue delivery).

The eyes should speak even if there is no dialogue. Ability to emote through eyes is a must IMO.

What quality do you look for first in an actor?

That they can act 🤷🏻‍♀️

There isn’t anything particular. If an actor just clicks, he/she just clicks.

Once hands/fingers have been reviewed then I focus on

Versatile, Chameleon in acting then dialogue delivery. Like Oscar Isaac 😊
