I think both Adilie and Arylie fandoms need to come together and boycott this show entirely so that it wraps up in a few months. I am in neither fandom, I only come to the forum from time to time to bitch about the show because I find it fully ridiculous and I can't believe this shit is getting a second season.

Oh them coming together is Never going to happen. The Character Sketches that they respectively support are too different for them to come together.

Comapred to some Plots that I had heard of, Imlie was one of the better ones - WAS.

It could have been a Trailblazer with the Range of Issues it could have addressed successfully had the OG Crew of Director Atif Khan and Creative Head Muskan Bajaj been given complete reign - Bias against the lesser privileged, Class and Caste Differences in the Society, Sexual Assault on Males, Business Scams, Journalistic Operations, Infertility, Narcissistic Tendencies (the Villains : Anu&Malini), Focus on Mental Health and advocating Therapy to those who require it, and a lot more. The Plot had umpteen possibilities.

And the Cast were also Super-Talented. Even the TRP Audience had appreciated them a lot. But No, it had to be this way. Sigh. All thanks to Producer Gul's Ego and Her continued Interference in the Story Line.

Correct! I also had a lot of hopes from the show when it started. Especially I would have liked to see Aditya falling in love with her, in the process of supporting her dreams.

I was already skeptical about the show when he brought her in as a servant and blamed her for the marriage. But the moment Imlie asked him to keep the truth from Malini and marry her, and then still stayed on in their lives like a parasite, I lost all respect for the story and for the FL. It was just going to be another crap love story which shouldn't have been in the first place.

And the whole Aryan part was just one more chapter in a crap show. By that point, the story held no value for me. No matter which actor was in the picture (or not). I could watch 2 episodes every month and still see that the show never became better, just went from bad to worse.

When comparing the MLs, I personally would take Aryan over Aditya anyday because by the time Aryan marked His Entry, I was almost entirely done with Aditya's Character and the whole Imlie-Aditya-Malini Triangle. It was like a Parade of Red-Flags - when it is starting, it is only seen as a single line, but when you get caught up in it, it is a Nightmare.

Aryan was a Change and the whole of it since his entry to Malini's First PF, including the Adi-Ni Wedding (Adi-Ni Wedding's Circumstances were cringe ultra pro max) and Pagdandiya Track has good re-watch quality. I do have a soft corner for Aryan's Verbal Jabs to Adi-Ni then.

Maybe the difference in our Opinion is of the fact that I never could see Imlie in a lesser light - She had done a lot of Blunders, but I just could Not find it in me to judge Her. Because though I have faced some ostracisation and a lot of adversities, Imlie's Sufferings at 18-19 Years Old is something I can't imagine.

With all the Manipulation served by Malini, and the Non-Supportive Tripathis, I would have taken atleast 10 Years to grow out of my Conditioning and Mental State had I been in Her shoes at that tender age.

I'm betting that Atif might've planned all or atleast some of the Tracks that I had mentioned. But Gul again interfered and turned it into Kitchen Politics. Even then, I kept watching it out of respect to the Khan Duo's insane Performance and through-the-roof Chemistry. Even with such choppy writing, they practically lived those roles.

Saw the Poster of the New Navaraatri Themed Music Video that they're in. I hope they get Good OTT Shows and Movies - both individually and paired with each other.
