Well that’s true. It’s easy money for even flop stars to earn from endorsements via social media. They already all have at least more than 1 million followers which itself is huge enough for brands to approach them.

i do not want to know about female actors. i want to know about male actors. it must be really difficult for them once they are out of work

Businesses, real estate investments, work in TV, films, web series, theatre, opening own acting classes or production house or trying writing or direction, becoming social media stars, doing ads, joining politics or spiritual cults. There are male escorts as well and their sugar daddies and sugar mommas. Just because it is less talked of it does not mean it does not exist.

Some also pursue further education or other jobs. Like Tariq Hussain who was in Kya hua tera vaada song and some old 70s films, now works in a bank. Ronit Roy has own security agency. Pankaj Dheer has own acting classes and works on TV. Mukesh Khanna is a YouTuber, runs own acting classes. Sahil Khan runs his own chain of gyms.

Arya Babbar works in Punjabi films. Mithun's son inherited dad's chain of hotels and hotel business. Tusshar manages Balaji Telefilms' financial and logistical aspects.

Some actors and actresses do good jobs too like Mayuri Kango works at Google and Tariq Hussain works at top banks. Ram Kapoor's wife Gautami was a top actor on TV too but she quit acting after kids and pursued her further education in life sciences. Some complete their studies as well. Or some teach at acting schools like NSD, FTII. Naseer for eg taught at NSD as well when he was getting less work in films.

Paresh Rawal's wife Swaroop Sampat was a top actor on TV but later completed her education and became an educator and expert on learning technologies.

Lot of flop BW male actors have own farms, lands in home states like Punjab, Haryana, UP etc and earn through their lands, property, plantations too. Some work in regional films and do well there. Or run grooming classes or personality development or public speaking or acting and dance classes for aspiring youngsters.

I know certain TV stars here in the USA have said to earn upto 100k per an episode if they are extremely famous.

Even in India the really big ones who get half the ratings on TV are paid a handsome pile of doe.

It is pretty much getting a business or first class ticket for the cost of coach. But yes, you have to travel regularly to get the points. Pay fees for the credit card and have good credit. All of that takes money. But people earning around 300k a year I have seen have these memberships. So you have to be rich not super rich.
