Won't be surprised if in some twist it gets later revealed in the show that Raj Kumar Yadav is 'sperm donor' of Manmeet's son.

Someone s mentioned it on Twitter. Hopefully it’s not revealed now or it will be like any other soap. Too predictable

I sensed it when in 1st episode itself director has purposely shown a scene, where in Anmol's application form that lady writes Raj's name as father & then strikes it off. 😃

Hmmm makes sense now. First episode mentioned that manmeet wants to be single and does not wish to marry. So her choosing to have a child through IVF whilst maintaining her single and independent status makes total sense for her. And her traditional father disproves of his daughter not only remaining unmarried, but having a child through an anonymous sperm donor so the child's paternity is unknown.

yeah choosing IVF to be a single parent is a modern topic, but Manmeet is just 30 yrs young working lady when she went for IVF😔 feel writers could have stressed more on, why she couldn't find a suitable man to marry in Mumbai beyond her being busy with career ambitions, or why she got averse to marriage?

There are many women who just find the institution of marriage burdening and restrictive for women, with societal expectations only on women to compromise her social life and career, and too much freedom for men where men are not expected to give up or change anything for marriage.

I actually hope they don't focus on who the dad is..it doesn't matter and shouldn't be the focus of the show.

Manmeets is the mother and father and they should leave it at that

I don't think Manmeet is against marriage, I mean, she was ready to marry that Dubai guy until he showed off his misogyny and told her about his expectations from her after marriage. If they'd been dating for a few months, he should have understood that Manmeet is a career oriented woman who wouldn't leave her dream job just to follow him to another country as a trophy wife. And after that, I feel she just felt that marriage is a too big of a commitment and she knew she didn't want to compromise on her dreams. So she followed her heart to fulfill both of her biggest dreams, bring an architect and a mother...her mother supports her but I'm appalled by her sister's behavior. Have no expectations from her misogynistic father...maybe he'll turn over a new leaf later?
