I think success went to his head sadly 🤔 I found I-F searching for him when watching srgmp c2005. His "topi" and himesh's over the top reactions trying to push him to win 😆 It was the best season of srgmp in a long time. I think there are numerous cases of such contestants burning out. Like Amey Date came in some show and Monali Thkur was judging him 😆😛 Then few months back, Rajeev from Chamba (if you remember, he was from the same c2005 as Vinit and was in Aadesh's gharana) - he came to India's Got Talent with a broken marriage and fizzled stardom. In some kids singing show a couple of years back - that kid srgm lil champs came whom the then judge suresh wadekar used to call "tota ram" 🤣

But for Vinit, I really feel bad. He was terrific then, even if over sold by himesh. I think everyone deserves a second chance, and hope he goes far in the show. Specially when these days we see all these reality contestants play musical chairs in shows - so many of them reappear at multiple shows. Like Aryananda most recently!

I was trying to remember who were the gharana mentors that season. Adesh Shrivastav , Ismail Darbar & ? (The old Himesh?)

There are a lot of new singers out there. Many are struggling to climb the first ladder. They are also using II to reach their goal. I have nothing against second chances. But really seasoned singers competing against novices is an unbalanced scale.
even Pawandeep last year’s winner was a winner of an earlier singing competition. Clearly the organisers have no qualms about the uneven playing field.
Out of curiosity were experienced singers allowed to compete? Wondering since the show of part of the same franchise.

I absolutely agree with you. No previous winner of national level competition or even finalists should be allowed to participate in another national level competition.

The objective of these type of singing reality show is to bring out fresh singers to the lime light. To help them achieve their dreams. This is not a platform to get a 'second chance' or get your career a boost.

. Just winners? It should be top 5 or top 10. I think Vineet didn’t win any realty show so far. He is good and was a pet of HR. I think he is close to HR family. I have seen reels on IG with Vineet and HR’s wife Sonia.
I hope he uses his second chance well and people vote for him for who he is today and not for his known name. He has already sung in Bwood!
His IG followers have already increased by 1K in one day! Good for him. I hope he doesn’t face a rejection as I wouldn’t want to see him go into depression. That’s how they portrayed him in his audition!

The team obviously doesn't care. They have deliberately picked out past contestants because there is too much risk with new singers and every season has to be bigger and better than the 1st. Don't like it, it's specially weird for a lot of these singers like Nilanjana going from top rated Indian idol to flop sa re ga ma. I don't mind singers who participated in kids version and than later participate as adults.

Even Sachin reached finals of SRGMP despite being part of the jury previously. I did not get his need to participate

There was Jatin-Lalit gharana also. They used to go gaga over Ujjaini 😆 But their ace was Sharib 👏 Himani from Aadesh's gharana is still exceptional and doing good work even now.
