Right now preachy films ka phase nahi hai, it might’ve worked 3-5 years ago.

The audiences tastes change over time. Dil chata hai wasn’t an instant hit but now it’s one of those movies that is watched over a long time .Originally posted by: mz.gigglez

I doubt LSC will be cult classic. It is sort of slow, tragic ending film, with a choppy narrative and it takes patience ti absorb the film or connect dots or link characters and events. I do not think it will go DCH or AAA or Swades way given its subtlety and lack of typical high voltage drama that desi audience likes. It will not be seen as bad as Mela either. Just somewhere in between.
it was a great film
Bad trailer zero hype then followed by negative reviews
No one was talking about the film. Look at how everyone is talking about Brahmastra. Theater-going is a social experience and for the first time since Covid started, people fear being left-out if they don't see the film, even if it is just to make fun of the film. Nobody cared about LSC. There was no urgency, everyone would rather have waited for it to release on streaming.
