All bull crap here which people wrote for its failure.

No Amir has not lost his stardom.

Film was not terrible or painfully slow.

It was a good film, deserved to be a hit atleast if not a blockbuster.

The real reason it failed was

* Late release. It was in making for last 4-5 years.

There was a lot of excitement about it when it originally surfaced 5 years ago, people loved Amir's new look and were very curious about the film itself, but the LACK LUSTRE and HALF HEARTED way it's trailer and promos were done before it's release, just killed that excitement amomg the people.

EXACT SAME THING HAPPENED WITH ANDAAZ APNA APNA.

Audience just loved it's initial promotions, were super excited for its release, but it got delayed for whole four years, and added insult to the injury, the makers had a very low key promotions when it was actually and finally got releasd, that killed all of the excitement of people been built in last 4 years before AAA's release.

For lsc also the boycott had it's small share in its low boxoffice performance, apart from the major above stated reasons.

Stardom is bringing in audience even with crappy dialogue like *light us roshni ka naam hain" and "Kaun ho tum* X 10K😆

The Khans had their day. They will always remain legends, but time cooks everything as a much wiser person than me once said.

I wish you could have quoted all of my post and not just an out of context line.

I wish you should have also posted something about it's late release and I wish u should have replied something about it's relevance with AAA as well when Amir and other Khans were not "done" as per you.

Listen, I am someone who likes Aamir's movies. But life, aging, time are all facts. Yeah, LSC might have done better if it released before. But that *before* was when Aamir had box office pull as a *hero.*

Slow film, too subtle, tragic ending are reasons why people did not warm up to it post pandemic. They want escapist fare.

Also, Aamir and Kareena are a stale pair, people have seen them in 3I and Talaash. They are also hated more than Brahmastra leads due to own statements.

LSC was not promoted much. It lacked carpet bombing marketing of usual AK films.

Lead was playing a minority character. Usually films with sardars are accepted only if they play cop, army man, freedom fighter or comedian. LSC was neither. Female lead was also minority character and shady.

No catchy music or naach gaana.

Film was remake and also failed to adapt convincingly in Indian context. Events end abruptly in film.
