See its ur opinion but for me she really did well because her character was not of typical vamp.Nandini was weak, selfish and mean but not planning plotting types unlike typical tv show vamps.And she portrayed it well one side she was meak and timid but later become selfish and wanted kunal for herself.Its not like she planned to snatch kunal from mauli.Drashti is not that great but yeah she is decent actress. And about jennifer she was irrevelant for me before she played maya i watched her shows before too only maya was her best performance but i found her pretty average in her other shows and in bepannah she gave below average performance .Her comedy and drunk scenes were really bad there.So for me none of them are great actresses.They just pretty average and yeah jenny is no way superior than drashti because jenny is fit for grey shades more postive naive innocent girl character never suited her.Its only jennifer fans or teen age kids who find her versatile i don't so that is my take.Your can be different so no worries.

But the thing is even if you compare jennifer's second best performance(maya jaisingh or riddhima) to drashti's best performance(madhubala?) drashti still falls short,no?

Jennifer has given some powerful performances even if she is not completely consistent or versatile(but then,who is?)

Again its your opinion i have watched drashti from muskan to Inspector Ira.Her best performance was khanzada in The empire .You can't compare characters like madhubala and maya .MB was ordinary girl and drashti did excellent job in it.She was in so good in light comedy scenes,drunk scenes and emotional breakdown scenes.Whereas maya was psycho character which turned negetive in the end how can you compare drashti with jenny when dd never did any character like maya .Whereas jennifer has done kumud and zoya who were ordinary girl character and she was pretty average in it and was not able to connect to mass audience here i m talking about itv audience not online audience.

Lack of trps doesn't mean the performance was not good,otherwise you can't praise drashti for silsila either as you just did,and with regard to jennifer I am not even talking about kumud I am talking about maya jaisingh and riddhima,there is this scene in beyhadh2 showcasing maya's dilemma about her love for rudra and her need for revenge.She was so so beautiful in it.I don't know if DD has ever been able to be so earnest at least in her tv career.

Why can't actors who have played different roles be compared?Going by this logic there should be no award shows,no pitting of a vidya bagchi against a jhilmil.

My point is jennifer's best has proven to be far superior to drashti's best(whatever be the characters)

I too didn't like jennifer as kumud or zoya but I also don't think her only performance worthy of being talked about is maya mehrotra.

look this is superiority complex i was talking abut you ppl put down other actors when you don't know about their full work .Drashti have given many good moments because i have seen her shows from start i have seen her bad as well good performances .Drashti have her moments which jennifer don't have and vice versa.And about comparing even in awards there are different categories for such characters .Positive and negetive .maya was negetive character whereas madhu was positive one.Maya can't be compared with madhu both have totally different shades.Maya can be compared with characters like arohi of ishq mein marjawa becoz both have grey to black shades. If drashti do something like maya in future then we can compare them because grey shade or negetive characters give more scope to actors to perform.

I have seen geet and madhubala and silsila,I am not commenting on drashti without seeing her performances.That breakdown scene in red saree in madhubala after RK shows his true face was so unremarkable compared to jennifer's breakdown scenes in multiple shows.

Ok,in tv they distinguish negative and positive characters so let's not compare madhu to maya of BH1.Let's focus on maya of BH2,riddhima and all of drashti's positive characters.

That scene in BH2 where jennifer breaks down over the murder of her child,so so powerful.

I have never seen DD like this.

Jennifer as riddhima was so bland for me .Her romantic scenes with ksg never did anything for me .Shilpa was better as ridhima and his chemistry with shilpa was way better than winget but that is my opinion but i can understand you liked kajen but sorry i was more into kash .And mb scene when she breaks down gave goosebumps to me i don't know about you. I never connected to jennifer emotionally in any of her breakdown scenes.Her drunk scenes are so bland too.Comedy scenes mein she is too bad. Drashti chemistry with each of costar was sizzling except arjun bijlani ( as i found more like them siblings) .Her romantic scenes were more sizzling as compared to jennifer romantic scenes with any of her costar.Jenny was excellent as maya and i praise her for that but only that kind of roles suits her. I never said that if you don't get trps then you are bad actor but it also mean you are not appealing to audience in that particular role.During silsila bepannah run silsila got more hype than bepannah because of its concept and its actors .Even youtube views of silsila use to be way more than bepannah and bepannah use to come on prime time whereas silsila was very late still they had almost same trps.

I m also talking about acting darling romance karne keye bhi acting chahiye hoti h.I found kash scenes more good enacted than kajen i never felt anything sizzling amoung them got it.But many other found kajen good but that is their choice i respect it.
