Honestly, I don't know. Abhi, there are a few things that are pending and most of the characters don't seem to be in any mood for some 'fun.'

Indeed, I love how you made the three or four couples have a vibe of their own, but the love remains same 🤗

some bittersweet moments until he finally comes in terms of forgives him or whatever.

Heavy! That's what the chapter was. Hope Monami gets some solace.

I was thinking. Monami had a miserable childhood. A presumably affectionate father turning cold after his wife's martyrdom and many questions she assumed answers for? In this having only a friend who she shared her broken soul, having only a friend who she shared her broken soul who was himself a child would perhaps have clouded her thinking.

What did she want to actually become? Why did she choose to go to Parakram?

A creative profession because she perhaps had an aptitude for it and assuming Dr.Mahajan would have agreed to any non-defense profession but that wouldn't be perceived as courageous.

A soldier because that is synonymous with valour, something that her mother probably wanted?

A doctor because may be that way she could be closer to her father and be accepted?

And now that she had fulfilled her father's supposed (by her) wish, she wanted l to fulfill her mother's, in albeit a civilian program.

The Juhi Mahajan mystery is getting thicker, about time you please split it 🙂.

We age and we mature conditioned to the circumstances. In retrospect, many things could have been done better because there never is the best way. There are only best possible ways that too conditions apply.

Param regretting past decisions is natural but shouldn't persist. Hope Barkha is able to knock some sense. There has to be more to this whole abandonment thing. He grew up under a mentor and he raised his brother. He of ALL people knows what it is to be raised by a parent vis-a-vis a mentor.

As for Siddhart's reaction. Well, I would expect anger for having left, helplessness not at himself but the current situation (he has seen Param in prosthetic limbs). I hope somewhere he understands, however much he and Monami were together, the situations were not. Siddhart had an option of emotionally turning to and leaning on his father however much he was busy in busines which Monami doesnt seem to have had.

Ps: Absolutely Loved Siddhart motivating Monami. Tu meri Sherni hain.........

Do baatein:

Pehli. Monami wasn't that young when everything happened. She was young, but not 7 or 8 or something. I had mentioned in Karan's flashback that he was 19 when Param started working on Mission Pari so she was at the very least, 15. By that time, a lot of people had already decided what they want to be, so that wasn't something that was too influenced by it. The execution was the part that was influenced by it though, undoubtedly.

Doosri. You are right. Sid was a child himself. 17 or 18. Too young to be able to handle someone who has been traumatized all by himself, so there might be things that he had missed- there are many things that could have been identified and soothed all those years back that Sid had missed and that have stemmed into much more influential factors.

As for her career choice, Monami had always admired her mother greatly. And even when she was alive, she had wanted to be like her. An army doctor. She loves treating people and she wants to serve her country and that has always been her ambition.

You are correct in assuming that Dr. Mahajan would have agreed to any profession that wasn't as dangerous as being in the defense, but Monami herself was inclined to being a doctor since she loves helping and saving people.

It is going to be revealed soon enough. At least, according to the plan.

We age and we mature conditioned to the circumstances. In retrospect, many things could have been done better because there never is the best way. There are only best possible ways that too conditions apply.

In normal times, it wouldn't be as persistence. But just like Param's presence had triggered insecurities in Monami, her presence had triggered the guilt he had felt when he finally realized that he shouldn't have left.

There would perhaps, always be this lingering shadow of the guilt and regret of his past decision, but no, it wouldn't be as persistence and as on-the-surface as it was in this chapter. Reminiscing, that twinge of emotion when he sees how different they are and how he could be a part of it, that would be more like it.

Sure there was always this person to fall back on, but when someone leaves or abandons you- even when you have all the people in the world- there would always be anger and sometimes, no matter the situation you can't seem to forgive the person.

He has seen Param in prosthetics and the sight made him feel bad, but he hadn't allowed himself to linger too much on that, but once he would inevitably have to face him, that would be something he would have to think about and decide how exactly and how deeply does he feel about it.

Ps: Absolutely Loved Siddhart motivating Monami. Tu meri Sherni hain.........

❤️🤗

@italics:

Well most people don't have a career plan and that's perfectly fine too🙂. Age, aspirations, aptitude and circumstances just so many things influence what one chooses as a career.

@bold:

A 17-18 year old Siddhart v/s a 17-18 year old Param is in itself a false equivalence.

Yes, Siddhart was in no means a child but his outlook cannot be compared to say, a Param who already had the responsibility of his kid brother.

Sorry one more point:

Ab itne emotions ko balance karna hain na. Suspence se badh kar kya hi hoga.

Yeh EFR wala Investigation na recee se badh hi nahin raha. Need some solid clues to put our brains in drive gear.

Something interesting. Our state of mind at any point has an impact on our sharpness. However much we try, the two often collide.

Like sometimes we overlook clues because our mind is clouded by things.

Sometimes we cannot read between lines or decipher seemingly evident indicators or alarms because of the state that we are in.

This could be used to say, may be why certain clues regarding the spy or their Investigation is dampened and perhaps if they cross verify, it would puts the puzzles in place.

Hmm, that's also true. Also, since they have so less manpower- there are only 4 people in the academy that know about the spy (Sanju, Karan, Faizi, Col. Batra) and from the 4, only 3 of them are investigating, so the advantage of ek-ne-nahi-pick-kara-toh-doosra-kar-lega goes out of the window.

And a lot of times, one clue is that one piece that connects all the puzzles together. Sometimes, aapke saamne woh clues pehle hi shape lena shuru kar dete hain but you can't see what they are trying to form until that last cut.
