He's praying to Shiva. Pashupathinath is literally Lord of Animals. He's not praying to the animal itself.
Once again, question is not should he do it?
Question is if temple does not have that rule, why are others stopping a beef-eating Hindu from worshipping. If you feel like digging a little deeper, they're actually standing between a man, sinner or otherwise, and God. Which is the bigger sin? That RK ate beef or that he's prevented from praying?
Again it's not about rules and regulation
Why do we need specific rules if we have good conscience?
Does it make any sense, is it right to kill something and then pray to it?
And just so you know, Nandi is worshipped in Hinduism. Nandi is very dear to Shiva, there are others like Kamadhenu, Punyakoti etc who were very pure animals
We have even separate temples just for Nandi
Nandi is representation of all animals. If you see, every God is associated to some animal or the other
In sanatana dharma, every soul is divine and must be respected and we should have kindness
Just because we are slightly intelligent does not mean all animals are beneath us and we can do whatever we want
We are all living breathing creatures who feel equal pain
If we lose that conscience, then what's the point of being born a human. An human is able to use their intelligence to make moral conscientious choices
Animals have more compassion than us even though humans are supposed to be more intelligent
Again if there is literally no choice but to eat animals to survive then that is fair
But when we have plethora of options why choose the violent route
And going to temple for just for show is messed up
Aise to aaj ki date mein koi bhi Hindu nahi hai..
Ranbir should sit outside Mandir and stop “all” from entering including Pandits

You didn't answer my question.
What right does anyone have to prevent RK from worshipping?
His conscience, short of a crime, is only between him and God. So what right does anyone have to keep him from going to any temple if the temple itself doesn't have that rule?
I feel they should not be allowed inside temple.. because they are just doing for the heck of it.. like.. for promotion and etc.. not because of bhakti...
I don't know😆
Alia doesn't eat beef?
Not that there's anything wrong with it but I assumed she must have unless she's a 'vegetarian' like KKK
But I have seen many South movies showing actors eating meat/beef. Someone on Twitter also shared the same. Then why the outrage here?
Who the eff cares?
They're not visiting the mandir out of their antar-mann ki pukaar. They're doing it for sympathy and publicity.
The director and lead actors of the movie have a difficult time holding a conversation in Hindi. What do you expect?
Tab to everyone in the industry goes to the temple before the release of their respective movie.Originally posted by: Rocky.Bhai

See my point is, we humans don't know about other human's belief. Hence, we do not have any right to stop them from entering a holy place. It should be between him and the God

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were in Ujjain on Tuesday to visit Mahakaleshwar Temple but they were stopped by Bajrang Dal activist from entering the temple after the actor's old interview on eating beef went viral.
Bollywood actor couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were prevented from entering the famous Mahakal temple in Madhya Pradesh's Ujjain on Tuesday night by Bajrang Dal activists for the actor's alleged remarks over beef-eating. Confirming the incident, a Mahakal police station official said they resorted to cane-charge to disperse the protesters.
Eyewitnesses said despite the cane charge, the protesters did not allow Ranbir and Alia to enter the temple premises. Bajrang Dal workers raised 'Jai Shriram' slogans when Ranbir and Alia arrived at the spot to take darshan.
Why didn't the police help them? Despite the lathi charge and police presence, how can the protestors stop them unless the temple itself didn't want them inside
This article says they were offered adequate protection and told to go inside but they chose not to
Later Ayaan visited the temple with the crew
And those people protesting have the right to protest too as long it's peaceful ( I mean really peaceful not the BLM protests kind of peace)
So it begs for the question, why did Bhatt & Pathi decide to return? Cz that makes for a better headline?
