Alia’s dad has connections to terrorism and extremists. He also made out with his other daughter Pooja and done all sorts of strange things.

Mahesh Bhatt is kooky. The whole khandan is. But he's no terrorist. They are probably talking about the pic where he kissed Pooja on the lips. He also mentioned somewhere that if she wasn't his daughter, he'd have dated her. His son (from his first marriage) had a friend/acquaintance with terrorist connections and was called for questioning. That's all.Considering that the son was not even on good terms with the father for a long time, tagging Mahesh on this seems ridiculous. Mahesh is not popular because of his no-nonsense quotes and does not try to be diplomatic or court favor with the Bollywood bigwigs. He has that in common with Rishi.
