RK studio and Kapoor mansion were also attacked then.

I bet these are politically motivated paid senas to target stars in name of culture wars and ideology.

Similar outfits were attacking theatres and asking persons of majority religion to not watch Lal Singh Chadha and wanted to stop screening of film.

I bet there will be attacks on theatres too when Brahmastra releases.

Most definitely....someone laughed when I told about LSC.

Good ....because Alia is pregnant and could have gotten hurt....achha hua risk nahi liya..

This worried me too. People can be so crazy that they don’t even think that a lady who is pregnant could get hurt. And you right in the south nepotism is more prevalent

This is not true. There are many top actors who are not nepos.

I'll talk about Malayalam since that's where my roots are.

For every Fahad Faasil and Dulquer Salman, there is a Nivin Pauly and a Tovino Thomas. Soubin, Suraaj, Nimisha, Kani Kusruthy, Parvathy, Sai Pallavi, Meera Jasmine... the list is long.

Asin, Nayantara came from Malayalam cinema. They were not nepos.

In Tamil, Rajnikanth is still the biggest. He was not a nepo though his children and in-laws are.

Vijay Sethupathi, Ajith... I believe are not nepos.

Even in Telugu, Vijay Devarakonda is not nepo.

Yes, nepotism is there in South India also. Difference is there is no KJo sitting there and doing promo for nepos and grabbing roles for his preferred people. Nor is anyone proclaiming NTR Jr as the greatest actor in all of India.

I don't need to beat anyone up nor I am interested

I simply boycott movies and not waste my money on people or movies which I dislike 🤷‍♂️

I am genuinely curious as to who these people are. Normal citizens like us may diss a movie on social media but to go out and protest against a movie is so frivolous.

Normal people don’t have time for this. We are too occupied with our jobs, family, safety education. If it’s a relevant matter then yes but against a movie? (Esp one which doesn’t have any controversy)

These people are either politically motivated or paid PR. I wouldn’t put the latter past Kjo and gang. Anything to keep public talking about their superstar and movie.

I don't know about KJo. But even back in the prehistoric days before social media, jobless people in Kerala would go on morchas and stuff.
