See you can argue all these, but if imlie is excused for lying on his face when he asked her about cheeni being gudiya because of her insecurities or whatever reasons, Aryan is excused for the quite because of the stunt pulled by imlie today by springing this information on him suddenly.

Calculation karne ke liye right facts and time chahiye. The priority is to protect imlie from criminal case and cheeni from Malini who doesn't care shit about her daughter.

i actually think Imlies state of mind post MC and Aryan argument makes it more likely that she went looking for Gudiya... she was borderline obsessed with Gudiya safety and Malini...

But for what its worth I dont think Aryan thinks Imlie kidnapped Chinni from Malini - he can tell when Imlie is lying to him

The question is whats the story about why/how Imlie convinced Malini that Gudiya is dead? What kind of mother doesnt verify that?
