Sameen's father got his izzat dragged in mud, got insulted by her in laws, saw his married daughter on the verge of divorce multiple times and still didn't get a heart attack. Kiddos to him. He has the strongest heart in pak dramas history🤣

Sameen was a fairly strong character per serial standards. Yes, she tolerated a lot of negativity, was shown as helpless many times and forgave everyone, but she clapped back at her skeptics. Whether that be questioning Faraz's behaviour (the taunt about how women and men differ) or expressing her dismay. She's been vocal about her feelings from the I love you - perhaps one of the rare female characters to profess first - and she was one of the most consistent characters throughout.

Overall, this show made me crush on Khushhal Khan (especially in the beginning before his character made me want to bang my head against the wall) and really appreciate Saboor's acting. I had seen her work before but this was the first character of hers I invested my energy in.

I agree here, they showed a few days had passed after the revelation but Faraz still didn't call Sameen that was a clear sign he was hesitant due to his mistakes(that happens in the real world as well)...and that gave them some time to understand each other in a whole new light. Practically we all want our loved ones to call and check up on us after a fight and even as siblings/friends we do get in big fights but then we forgive each other and want to return to the time we were happy the soonest.

Sameen also wanted it back but she was afraid of this second chance as well so all those flashbacks, Sameen's hesitation, and then Faraz assuring her that this time nothing would be same was really appreciating.

Another good point, Sameen's character was of a strong girl, I liked how she didn't stay silent when Faraz's mother and sister, or even the house help tried to taunt or mislead her, and then her being vocal about her feelings - again a strong part of her character.

here also with your words, this show made Khushhal khan get noticed and there were so many scenes he was so good at emoting the right emotions,(frustrated with things happening, wanting Sameen's attention without saying)... i felt his character was shown as the youngest kid in a house with a lot of pampering while growing up and they were still in their college perhaps that was the reason for him being childish at times. (Of course, the story shook badly when they made him dumb and my words in no way trying to defend that, i hated the way his character went in the last few episodes).

are you planning to watch Wehashi? i think it will stretch Khushhal's acting boundaries and be something worth watching.

again, even I liked Saboor better in this show...♥

Actually what I feel is the whole problem is the limit of intimacy shown in Pak dramas apart from his usual switches from caring to nonchalant about her presence. do you remember when Faraz brought her back from her house (that Gajra scene and told her she is beautiful) they shifted to sharing a bed but what did that imply was uncertain...whether they accepted each other as a Man and wife or not.

In pak dramas physical intimacy of the couple has nothing to do with how their relationship is otherwise.

Two might hate each other and fight all the time, the husband might be in love with another woman and don't even like the sight of his wife but suddenly they reveal the wife is pregnant. We will be scratching our head thinking when this happened🤣

So faraz not liking sameen has nothing to do with how physically intimate they are. Just start assuming that they started doing the deed when he said she can sleep on his bed 🤣

I don't think sameen was a strong girl. She had a lot of patience and has a very forgiving nature but not strong. She kept saying what will she do if faraz leaves her. That's definitely not a thinking of someone strong. At the start it made sense since her family wasn't accepting her and they forced her to live in his house and all the scandal was very fresh but even after her family accepted her back she kept on saying the same thing. She made her entire life revolve around how faraz treats her. She also never stood up properly against the bullying of her mil, sil or hareem. She simply says something that has zero effect on all 3 and walks away. The mil accepted her only when she realised she got a much worst dil in hareem. Never saw any change in anila's behaviour towards sameen. Sameen lacked a lof self respect as well.

Sameen's slap was the highlight.

The chemistry of Khushhal Khan and Saboor was wasted. So much potential but this show was a hareem drama, she was the lwas from the start to the end and the driving force as well.

Lucky that Faraz was cute, otherwise no sane girl would have forgiven him.
