I will say, despite all the flaws of the show, I appreciate Sameen in the last episode. Those flashbacks to her humiliation and insults during the rukhsaki made it more realistic and showed that she didn't instantly forgive Faraz. He had to earn her trust and I wish we could see that journey of mutual respect between the two.

Sameen was a fairly strong character per serial standards. Yes, she tolerated a lot of negativity, was shown as helpless many times and forgave everyone, but she clapped back at her skeptics. Whether that be questioning Faraz's behaviour (the taunt about how women and men differ) or expressing her dismay. She's been vocal about her feelings from the I love you - perhaps one of the rare female characters to profess first - and she was one of the most consistent characters throughout.

Overall, this show made me crush on Khushhal Khan (especially in the beginning before his character made me want to bang my head against the wall) and really appreciate Saboor's acting. I had seen her work before but this was the first character of hers I invested my energy in.

Sameen exactly wasn't completely bechari as she did speak up at times but her speaking up never made any difference. Its like even of she cried her eyes out or speak no difference to that scene because the opposite characters never reciprocate or had any impact on anyone.

I think they both should have talked things out and went on dates to know each other more before she went back with him to his house. We never got to see them being a normal couple for more than 2-3 scenes in the entire drama.

Her cries definitely went unheard and that was so annoying to watch cause there’s no reason to believe Hareem over her.

it’s hard to envision how their marriage looked like during the first year. Like the drama has these time jumps but there’s so much confusion about their relationship and how these feelings grew. Like Faraz, sometimes he just looks so in love with her but the inconsistency 🤯🤯

Subtitles are my reason for living lol I can’t enjoy anything without subtitles now, even for content in languages I understand. With that being said, Hindi or English dub definitely makes life a lil easier. For example, I watched Jai Bhim dubbed the other day (love you Suriya) and I was able to multitask because I understood the audio. In contrast, I watched Vikram Vedha the other day with only subtitles and my concentration was just on the screen (it isn’t a bad thing at all, just new to not be on my phone 😝).

I’ve been meaning to get into Turkish dramas! I’ve seen some edits on Twitter and the chemistry is out of the world 🔥🔥

Faraz himself don't know what he wants. He is such a confused soul. He himself brought back sameen and after hareem saying sameen planned everything to get married to him, he belived all that and screamed at sameen🤢. Like dude how is a girl supposed to break down your car, call police at the same place where your car broke down and call the media to maling her, her family and you in front of the entire country just so that she can trap you to marry her? This is why I said hareem isn't smart, the rest of the characters are super dumb.

There were literally 2-3 scenes in 49 episodes were faraz looked like he had genuinely feelings for sameen.

I was shocked when they said it's been almost an year since faraz and sameen's marriage. Sameen was living in that he'll hole with everyone (except asfand and the father) treating her like dirt.

I also watch movies/series from all languages and subtitles are everything. I don't need subtitles for Malayalam, Tamil, hindi and english movies. Rest i need subtitles. I have been watching kdramas for so long that I can understand an entire scene without subtitles even though i won't understand the exact meaning of their dialogues😆

I forgot to give credit to this drama for not killing off the female lead's father. He even tried to kill himself but didn't die. Varna pak dramas mein khade khade ladkiyo ke baap ko heart attack aa jathe hai. 😆

Sameen's father got his izzat dragged in mud, got insulted by her in laws, saw his married daughter on the verge of divorce multiple times and still didn't get a heart attack. Kiddos to him. He has the strongest heart in pak dramas history🤣

Even without killing off the father she was a bechari and masloom ladki🤣
