After Humshakal, Sajid Khan should have been banned from everything. 😔

For a while it looked like Bollywood was taking MeToo seriously. Sajid Khan was actually dropped from a movie he was directing halfway through the shoot due to MeToo accusation. His own family members tweeted about how his behavior was unacceptable and they didn’t know about it nor supported him. Aamir Khan dropped the director of Mogul. Stories/blinds about Akshay Kumar panicking and paying off people large amounts of money to keep them quiet was doing the rounds. Someone accuses Raju Hirani of rape, credible enough to get reported by Huffington Post, and suddenly Bollywood gets worried and big names start defending Hirani and discrediting the victim. That was the beginning of the end for MeToo in Bollywood. So it was just a matter of time before Sajid Khan was back. Vikas Bhal came back a lot sooner than him.

I still think one of the reasons Sonam became relatively quiet on twitter is because she lost all credibility to speak on issues when she tweeted “what if he didn’t do it?” for Raju Hirani.

I usually find boycotts silly, but if there should be any boycotts or bans then it should be against these men who have preyed upon others.

But I wouldn't single out Bollywood for being disgusting. Hollywood is just the same. Harvey Weinstein was just one person who went to prison. But majority of men whose careers derailed due to me too are staging comebacks. https://forward.com/schmooze/420038/here-are-all-the-famous-men-who-have-tried-to-come-back-from-metoo/

The US even has people like Matt Gaetz accused of soliciting minors entrenched in Congress. Lauren Boebert's husband exposed himself to minors and is riding her political status.

Mike Tyson came back and does Bollywood films 😂

Weinstein and Polanski are still feted by Hollywood. Don't be fooled by the woke tweets. As Dave Chapelle said, if ISIS had an OTT platform, most Hollywoodiya would get their agents to call them.

Both BW and HW see one thing mainly. Money.

Weinstein? Really? That’s shocking because his case became so hugely publicized I think even people who want to defend him won’t. Polanski is a different story. He won’t even return to the U.S. because he’ll be arrested and tried immediately yet there are famous Bollywood personalities who’ll work with him and defend his actions as that of a traumatized grieving man 🤬🙄. He actually won an Oscar in 2003 and got a ****ing standing ovation, except he wasn’t there to receive it.

Mike Tyson has made a come back but one could argue that he went to jail and paid his dues to society. Was the sentence fair for the crime of rape? Probably not but that’s a legal argument.

What … the … 😳😳😳

Yea he’d be skewered if he said anything like that today and rightfully so. I’m not sure how he got away with it in 2002. His comments are harassment and intimidation.

Not sure about Sanjay Duty’s case but regarding Salman with Sajid: one was negligent and stupid to drive drunk which resulted in killing someone accidentally while the other intentionally sexual assaults and rape people and continues to do so. There’s a difference.
