Rono’s characterization as per KD is that he gives 2 hoots to others. Sai included. Everyone misunderstood him that he moved on with RK. He didn’t bother. He didn’t marry her but kept his promise to be her friend. He let her come over to his house and all.

But marrying her makes him willing to accept her as a wife!! Why? What is his compulsion.?
