I will give my 360 degree perspective...
Total idiocy to show Jagtap being friends with Sai....and even more yuck to have him around Savi🤢. I don't understand the logic behind getting Jagtap..why could they not have brought in another fresh guy? The insesnsitivity of their wrting baffles me..I mean that guy attempted to r*pe Sai. . And he changes because of Sai?
Pakhi has been made too vile..she crossed all moral boundaries when she forcefully got herself implanted with sai's embryo against her consent. She needs to be in jail.
Makers perspective:
Jagtap has fully reformed..so Sai forgives him.
If you see that episode where Sai leaves, they are trying to show the twist of fate - Pakhi has reformed but unfortunately Sai does not know/believe it. She leaves with Vinu. The premise being if the fight between Sai & Virat had not happened that day...Sai would have eventually seen that Pakhi had reformed and she would have been happy to let Pakhi help to raise Vinu.
Audience perspective:
While Jagtap being friends is insensitive writing, and yucky...does it interfere with the overall story? Not much. Does it butcher Sai's characterization: Yes
But Virat marrying pakhi does effect the story. The makers vision that Pakhi has changed and therfore Virat has forgiven her and married her may seem logically fine....but it is superficial logic...it takes away the depth of human relationship from the writing. Pakhi has conspired to be surrogate against Sai's consent, blackmailed her with her own child and taken away her child. Unlike with Jagtap, story wise, it has huge implications since VIrat is Sai's husband and they will show her getting back to him. Virat is shown marrying Pakhi - where is his remorse on his decision to continuously chose Pakhi over his wife's emotions - that made Sai eventually leave & die? Where is the wish to honour his dead wife's wish to not let the woman who caused her so much harm from raising Vinu? could he not have raised Vinu as a single dad? Where is his promise to Samrat - by first choosing Pakhi as surrogate and now, choosing to marry her (even fake) he is tying her to him - instead of helping her move on -where is the integrity? Virat's character has been butchered beyond repair by all these. And if Sai returns to him, it butchers her characterization too.
Does Pakhi deserve a redemption? Yes. But it should be done properly for the sake of the story.
The only logical plot going forward from surrogacy track should have been Sai leaving Virat. But since they are not going to show it..one hopes they will atleast show Virat redeeming himself in a small way...and not make him do more unacceptable things. If sai does not return to him..then Virat, Pakhi are insignificant to the story.
PS: I hope I did not bore..it turned out too long.
