This is my point. Why he disappeared? He was so freakin good in Hulchal , Hungana, Dil Chahta hai, Humraaz, Race, Dewange. Akshay's movie Hulchul used to be fav one in childhood. He gave few good movies. But then completely disappeared.

I guess Fardeen suffered the same fate as the other actors during his time who couldn;t act, they just got a few chances but were unable to give a memorable movie.
The last time I saw Akshaye Khanna was in Itefaq I think. He's not lead material imo but he's a good actor so can get side roles, and he's suitable for thrillers.

Fardeen wasn’t a good actor so it’s understandable why he couldn’t become a big star, but Akshay Khanna most of movies were hits & are still pretty much watched & have attained a memorable status. AK gave good movies but maybe he just didn't have the looks of a main hero
AK and Abhay Deol seem to be done with Bollywood and it's politics. They prolly might do if few good roles come their way but i don't think they are networking or even care to mingle with the bolly brigade. As for Khanna he's a bit reclusive from what I read. He is neither out there going to parties or anywhere mainstream. I remember he admitted just a decade that he doesn't own a proper cell phone. It's a dabba nokia phone that is now called a burner phone. 😆 so I'm not surprised he is nowhere to be seen.
