aamir was offered gulshan kumar biopic and osho he can try such films if the script is good.

Well good on Aamir to bring underrepresented folks to the forefront. I hope it will be a better portrayal than LSC. I also appreciate the fact that despite setbacks he does focus on storytelling more than commercial or financial success.

Aamir has had an illustrious career with many blockbusters. I don't care if he never gets a hit again. I want him to keep experimenting to share different stories.

Aamir’s script sensibility is still in tact. These kinda movies need the right actors and directors more than anything else. I hope it’s not shelved. If Bollywood stops doing remakes, the industry would cease to exist. From songs to scripts, everything is “inspired”.

I’m a little fuzzy on the details so someone can correct me if I’m wrong. But basically the director was caught in a MeToo scandal so Aamir dropped him from the project (I think that’s an Aamir Khan Production as well). But after 8 months or so he was back on because the legal system couldn’t find anything to charge him with or something like that. Tbh, that one worked out like Raju Hirani’s case but with less media attention. At that point Aamir still wasn’t done with LSC and then the pandemic happened and it threw all the schedules upside down.
