Mishra took a similar stand When Dabur put out a controversial same-sex ad on karva chauth. He recently ordered that Urdu words be removed from police documents, calling them “obsolete”.

That’s not all. When Bajrang Dal workers vandalised the sets of the Prakash Jha film Ashram 3, Mishra called the Hindutva foot soldiers “patriotic” and asked “what action should be taken against you Prakash Jha”. And after Hindutva organisations held rallies in support of the Ram Temple in areas with a significant Muslim population, allegedly instigating violence and facing stone-pelting, the minister ordered that whichever “house the stone comes from, the stones would be taken out of that house”﹘in what appeared to be remarks targeting the Muslim community.”

Vellas of BJP divert focus from own failures and tanking economy by creating religious polarisation and targeting soft targets like celebs, ads, films.

This mantri has no other job to do except comment on celebs? Is this what he was elected for? Fighting with Arjun Kapoor?

Arjun did not threaten audience but liars, propagandists of politically paid IT cells, motivated by communal hate, spreading lies.

You just fear your minions facing action like Akki sued a YouTuber last year for defamation. And big prods sued Times Now and Republic.

Your concern is all useless. You target Bollywood in name of ideology and faith. There is a reason why you target Aamir for PK but not Hirani, VVC, Anushka, Sanjay or SSR who did same film.

You spared Sanju but will target Dunki also because of SRK and Taapsee both of who are minorities. Your target is never gonna be Hirani as he is a Sindhi Hindu.

No m not touchy..I wasn't even aware of the existence of this politician..just read his name in the linked article.. said he is a Dr. since u said uneducated n school dropout. I was like how can a school dropout be a doctor. IQ I haven't measured so don't know. As such Forest Gump character is a low IQ person with a heart of Gold..isn't it??

So low IQ doesn't always mean bad..and this politician may have high IQ but he commented out of the way...there goes a point in ur comment..

Also since he is educated ur comment about uneducated people also doesn't hold..We all know education has nothing to with wisdom.

And for the last...weren't people saying here itself that how can Arjun say this about the audience? And these comments were not only from the people who r labeled as bigots. So if a person u don't approve of says the same thing..does it make Arjun's statement right??

See I like the guy and don't even think he is such a lousy actor as he is made out to be. All members here keep on dissing the poor guy, even for this comment. But as soon as a BJP minister did so everyone suddenly felt a burst of sympathy for him. Better this sympathy stays when his movie releases and people think before using insulting words for him.

Lastly I don't abuse or insult anyone here and expect people to maintain decency in their posts. Also..perceptions r not necessarily facts..so don't take ur perception about me to be true

Audience had gone hiding under the bed after Arjun gave those threats. Now they can safely come out after this statement.

You can keep going round and round about this useless minister who wastes the valuable voters’ time on gossiping about BW but the facts are facts, he did gossip about BW.
