Knowing Ranbir i donot want to support him because of his verbal diarrhoea but in general "my wife is growing" (why wife is growing with my child ) is a general statement hubbies happily and positively tell others.

@ bold: I have to agree with this! its not like hubbies like to fat shame their wives, its more of a loving thing to say during pregnancy but I guess the way Ranbir put it here in a context that made it look cringe and unnecessary.

I’m not so sure. given Alia’s reaction and Ranbir himself immediately saying he was just kidding makes me think it wasn’t anything positive or cute. Alia certainly didn’t take it that way.
