But I totally agree with your points....no one in the Adilie fandom would have cared that Imlie fell in love with some other guy if the entire foundation of that had not been built on constantly demeaning and abusing Adi....that is the simple thing some people will never get. If people criticize the story, they criticize it for trying to build a new foundation on hatefulness and lies.

Yuvan-Banni ka dynamic is different....lol oh this reminds me of how Jaaniya fangirls also tried to demean Adilie by saying there was "power imbalance" there cuz Adi was older so that is why "toxic" hai....but somehow boss employee chipka chipki dynamic mein they never saw power imbalance😆....and YB ko bhi koi nahin bolega when the woman has the more power in that equation for now given how Yuvan worships her....lol

Err what? 😕 Why are they calling Imlie that? Whatever happens between Jaaniyas will be mutual only even if one or both of them is drugged....how else will makers do their usual "parallels" to prove how Jaaniyas are better than Adi who couldn't save himself from Malini? 🤔

This is exactly it. Maybe because I have seen so women manipulate situations to their benefit so much that men land up losing their entire being, that somehow characters like Adi really hit close to me. The amount that character has suffered hate at every stage of his life till the very end, be it when played by GM or MV, that it hurts me when I read people hating om him with no solid reason except he chose to side with someone he thought he knew for 7+ years and asked his wife to do that same because she was her sister as well. While Adi had his flaws and a lot of them, the guy has always accepted his mistakes, asked for forgiveness and worked towards rectifying them. But never asked to be hailed as a hero, which is why we love him even today and can discuss his character, coz it has that much of depth. Sadly even the Imlie who once had depth, principles and utter bhakti for Sita maiyya was decimated to showcase the might of Aryan. He is a character do uni dimensional that he needs other to be degraded to prop himself ( like we all have said multiple times) .

My question is - have women really become this - that they need the likes of ASR drool over tagt they're wiling to justify anything for their horny feelings. Like how is he a feminist or even a character to really root for when you actually dissect his actions in the last 200 episodes. FGS, now the guy sold 50% of his company to the woman who was responsible for him losing his child. Matlab aise character ko tum abhi bhi justify karte ho as the greatest ML ever. (Insert Adi ka "Seriously" wala gif here please).

Maybe I am old school but the current generation ka feminism is just beyond my understanding. 🤷

LOL I don't think this is representative of all women, Aps....as it is these online FDs usually consist of the most obsessive females of the lot - from all kinds of age groups....teenagers, working women, married women....they are all there but groupthink very much still exists even then and they manage to become this HOMOGENOUS blob that only functions on rabid obsession of their fav.

And it's just my personal opinion but I'm beyond tired of MEN trying to dictate what feminism is....as a woman, I deffo don't need a MAN to mansplain feminism to me....oh please🤔....I will laugh them out of the room before that day comes....and the women who need a MAN to ascend them to some plain of feminism, lol well the hilarious irony there will only be apparent to those still left with some critical thinking skills.

One of the things I always liked about Adi was that he never tried to dictate Imlie's path by saying that look I'M choosing this path for you, you need ME to function, ME to show you the "right path"....no, all he ever said was I want to walk WITH you as you soar. Women don't need men to dictate feminism to them....all they need is a man who understands the actual meaning of support without trying to be controlling in the name of "protectiveness". Adi was never a control freak....again, one of the things I quite appreciated about him as a character.
